I'm not a huge fan of Fatboy Slim but this CD is great. Most of the songs you can hear all the time and there were a few I have not heard of at all. While most of these pay on commericals or in movies (mainstream) its good background music for parties.

I was a bit disappointed in this album, but I think when I bought it, I didn't know it was a tie-in with Nike for a specific beats-per-minute pace designed specifically for runners. Maybe I ought to go take it for a run, but honestly, I was expecting something more along the lines of the amazingly excellent Vegas album. This was not nearly as good as Vegas. I'm kind of a novice in the electronic/techno music realm, so take that into consideration when reading this, but I've listened to enough over the years and have amassed enough electronic cd's, both albums by a single artist as well as compilations, to know what to expect from different groups who've made a reputation for having a certain type of sound. Bursting onto the scene in 97 with this breakout album Prodigy in many ways took the baton of industrial metal from Trent Reznors NIN and ran with it. It really is inconceivable that without NIN paving the way for them Prodigy could of had anywhere near the impact they had on the mainstream. This album is killer stuff, taking a range of traditional hard rock/metal shadings and giving them a new set of clothes and really adding a serious dose of accessibility to the industrial metal pantheon.

Im just starting to get into electronic music, but i don't know that many bands or albums that really grab me. This, however, is just absolutely earth shatteringly good. Oh man. I recently got a synth and have realized just how hard it is to make this type of stuff. The programing and sound design on this album is perfect. Every synth tone just shakes you to the core. Best songs are High Roller, Vapor Trail, and Trip like I Do.

Ok I saw this today at my best friends house and it was off the hook! Norman Cook is such a likable guy. He was like a kid in a candy store up their playing for 1000's dancing and having a great time. The guy that gave the negative review and said people didn't seem like they were having a good time must was looking at the cup half empty here because this video is like 2 hours of people smiling, yelling, and dancing their butts off, having an awesome time, and what the electronic dance music culture is all about! This is the second time that I haven`t recieved my purchase. There is a real lack of communication from sellers and from Amazon. I purchased my last item on Aug 14, It`s Sept 14 and nobody has tryed to fix the problem .Things are getting better thow last time I lost $15.00 this time I only lost $5.00 .

Tweekend

As all other reviews will tell you.. Vegas is clearly the best Crystal Method CD. Tweekend does not top Vegas by any means but is easily my second favorite Method CD. If you are a Crystal Method fan, you should feel no anxiety about purchasing Tweekend. It's different than Vegas but PHD, Wild, Sweet and Cool, You Know its Hard, Ten Miles back and Tough Guy are all solid cuts. As others will state it is a little bass heavy but I like it that way. Tweekend is a nice compliment to any Method fan collection.

The breakthrough album and zeneth of Fatboy Slim's Career. Tracks that integrated within all that was pop culture during the late 90's. From Adidas advertisements to the opening credits of clubber's cult classic, Human Traffic. Fatboy Slim was it...for a short but sweet time that rounded off the 20th century. He blew the sand off of Brighton Beach, and turned down Madonna when she asked him to collaborate on an album with her. Nice.

Some tracks are annoying, but I still have three or four tracks that I listen to fairly regularly. If for some bizarre reason, you don't have this album already, it is a worthy addition if you can find it cheap.
