this CD changed my whole perspective on COLDPLAY. i admit.. i was never a coldplay fan until i heard this album and i was blown away! it moved me and made me think. it was sweet yet vicious and each song told a story. the instrumentals are so beautiful. once i bought this album i realized what i was missing.. Viva la Vida inspired me to go out and buy almost every single one of their CD's. Chris Martin's smooth voice and the Bands catchy beats will win you over trust me. This album is so relaxing i love it. you will not be disappointed. and hey if you like bands like Pink Floyd and REM then you should DEFINATLY buy Viva la Vida. Its really good

I would have to say, that unfortunately, this is by far Beck's weakest effort to date, which is really a shame because I have always considered Beck to be one of the most consistently creative and intriguing artists of our time with nearly all of his works being brilliant in an entirely different way. Unfortunately, Modern guilt gives just seems to say that Beck isn't even trying. Every one of Becks albums before this seem have atleast a few tracks that seem to jump out at you. There are really no tracks on this album that really grab me. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing outright bad about the album, but it does (at least to me) comes across as faceless. Two Men With The Blues

I was saddened in listening to this album. Two of my most favorite artists, whom I have enjoyed their entire careers, come together to create an album to covet for years to come. The unfortunate part of this is that Willy's voice is slowly disappearing. Although clear in his vocals, he has reached that stage in life when he "speaks" the words, holding almost no notes for longer that a few seconds, demonstrating almost no vibrato at all. I have noticed this trend over his last few albums, and it takes away from the vocal aspects of the album. The blues component is second-to-none, strikingly presented, and Wynton does not disappoint, nor do the other band members! An average effort at best.

As the closing song on the album Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust, All Alright pretty sums up Sigur Ros' latest LP. After a string of melodic and ethereal albums that are pretty depressing as they sometimes go, Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust is a welcome and refreshing change for once.

Like many others, my reception to the album was mixed. On repeated listens, Sigur Ros has revealed not only musical maturity but also the courage to forge new inroads in their music. I just discovered Natasha Bedingfield from her appearance on American Idol. I thought she was great so I purchased her CD "A Pocketful of Sunshine." I really love it and the songs are so upbeat and positive especially "Freckels" which deals with the issue of womens' self image.

The Madonna fanatics will herald the endurance and stamina of not just the artist physical prowess but her career, which is truly a remarkable feat. Her detractors will come down the pike exclaiming what an untalented Faustian invention she is and decry her as irrelevant, again. You keep a watch out for your favourite artists, buy their cd's as they are released and write a review tell the world how truly fantastic the artist and music are.
