Firstly, I am so excited to have tickets for her live show in November. I love Kathy's comedy. She is truly one of my top 5 people I would love to hang out with for a week or two. I feel a connection with her honesty, and sincerity about what she feels about certain events.

Hands down one of the best we'll ever see. When Dick Gregory puts you in a class with Mark Twain and Richard Pryor in terms of funniest ever, that says something. I found a copy used at a Newbury Comics, and for half off, and after listening, I would easily pay the 70$ for this collection.

This movie was so much help with my children. It helped me learn to correctly swaddle and techniques on calming my children. I loan this out to anyone I know having a baby or feeling like they are struggling with soothing their baby.

I'm 39 now. My Mom used to listen to these albums when she was a teenager, and years later, she would to play them for me all the time when I was young. Instead of plopping me in front of the tv, we'd sit and listen and imagine Cosby on stage and we'd be laughing right along with the audience. I have been listening to them ever since. All these stories have held up wonderfully (no pun intended) after over 40 years. Bill Cosby is a master comedic story teller - and most of what he is telling is through real life experience.

I have several of Cosby's album's (I mean CD's!) on my iPod now, and it's hard to keep from chuckling in my work cubicle when a story like "The Chicken Heart" comes on...

Bill Frisell leads an octet over the 30 mostly short songs that make up "History, Mystery". He has a very good group -- Ron Miles on trumpet, Greg Hardy on sax, Jenny Schienman, Eyvind Kang & Hank Roberts on strings, Tony Scherr on bass, and Kenny Wollesen drumming. The songs generally have a creative dreaminess about them. The closest touchstone to this CD is Frisell's "Have A Little Faith". One thing contributing to dreaminess is that many of the songs show up more than once, so there's 40 seconds of "Answer #1" then later 110 seconds of "Answer #2". For all of the interesting miniatures, the longer songs with longer solos stand out -- "Baba Drame", "A Change Is Gonna Come", "Struggle", and "Waltz For Baltimore". first of all, i dont know why some people hate dane cook so much, to me, a comedian is good if he/she makes you laugh, and Cook did plenty of that on this release. i think some people take comedy waaayyyy too serously, political issues, rasing important questions etc.....yeah thats important for a senator but who gives a crap if it comes from a comedian.(unless its done right)....get this straight people This guy is here to make you laugh not to run for office. LOSE the seriousness and YOU WILL LOUGH OUT LOUD WITH THIS MAN. he's a very good story teller, prepare for the legacy....hahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahhaha
