Ne-Yo is such a talented songwriter. He is always coming up with more fantastic material. This song is hot, and on point. Vocally he always sounds the same in every song he does, but this is my absolute favourite song of his (after So Sick). It's definately going to be a top 10 if not #1. The lyrics are great and I can't wait for this album to drop (it comes from his third release called Year Of The Gentlemen) in either July or August.
This is a song that I haven't stopped playing for the last 48 hours almost straight. I love it and know it's going to be another big hit for this musical genius.

Seeing Sounds

First I am a huge fan of N*E*R*D. This cd tops their last album with flying colors. Chad and Pharrell have added so much ingenuity to this album. At first i thought the whole idea of seeing sounds was kind of questionable but when i listened to the whole cd while just kickin it in my room I actually felt like i was in another place. The album starts off with "time for some action" and it kind of kick starts the album then by "yeah you" and "spaz" you really find yourself envibed in the sounds and instruments. These superproducers are amazing and this album gives you nothing short of an hour or so of pure music enjoyment.

I recommend it to anyone who loves music and actually appreciates hard work.

I was hoping the Seamus Haji version of "Touch My Body" was here as it is on the CD single, which looks the same. It isn't - so don't buy it if that's what you want. None of the versions are all that great here. There should have been a track listing so I could see that even though the packages were the same, the versions of the song were not.

This is a solid album with solid beats. Lots of colab on this. Not as good as his first or his third album, but still enjoyable. Too many versions of "Diamonds". I wish his version of "Hey Mama" from the grammies was on this. The standard version doesn't convey the immotion.

There's been a lot of debate over this album and whether it measures up to "Emancipation"...I agree, Emancipation of Mimi has a fresher sound, more uptempo beats and Mariah seems more in control of her game when one listens to the album.

Before she released E=MC2, Mariah described this album as the "dessert" to Emancipation, which was the "main course"....I can see how that works. This isn't meant to be better than her last album but rather, complement it. The vibe is the same although the second half of the album slows down quite a bit. Mariah also said that this album contains some of her most personal lyrics and if you listen to tracks like "Side Effects", "Bye Bye", "For the Record" and "I Wish You Well", I think you'd agree these ... Alicia Keys is one of those performers that comes off wonderfully on a CD as well as playing live. Her voice does not need to be altered for recording purposes. I have seen her in concert and she is a perfectionist. For anyone who has not had the pleasure of experiencing her in person this is as close as it gets. She is exceptional!
