Hey it's really beyond me how five of the lowest class crocks from Grave Britain can turn into muzak icons. In 1964 they jumped around a tidbit and they shook their greasy hairs but these antics dont make a good music. They are filthy poseurs without any form of talent whatsoever. I'd rather listen to Andreew Ridgeley of Wham team up with Barry Manilow for some good rock!! You must be spoilt fools to believe that this crappy CD is worth more than a stifled laugh. Get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just bought this reissues LP this weekend! and having seen only one review of the vinyl reprint i thought i would add my 2 cents. 1st the packaging is great these LP make CDs look boring, nice gate fold and you can see all the art work that is so small it the cd booklet and now it is huge and awesome. 2ed the sound That is my we are buying all this s@#t again right! Sounds great the highs are higher and the lowers are lower just like my life j/k! 3ed it is just a cool thing the have and revisit. I think the whole ritual of putting the record on sitting down and listening to the recording instead of driving or washing dishes or working out or what ever. So in summation i would give the music 5 stars the vinyl 4 stars so there you have it! ... Read More:

This is the best album cover ever in rock and roll history as far as I'm concerned, the music inside is just gravy. Nothing could top OK Computer, so Radiohead didn't even try - they very wisely went in a completely different direction into almost another genre altogether. OK Computer is basically a straight up rock record but Kid A is pretty much electronic music. The first song, "Everything in it's Right Place" is one of the best in Radiohead's live set - it sounds much better live is what I'm trying to say - but the studio version is still very captivating, especially with good speakers. "How To Disappear Completely" almost matches the intensity of "Exit Music" from the previous record. I think the peak of the record is "In Limbo", maybe the ... Read More:

Nobody really actually enjoys listening to Radiohead. They just pretend to so that they appear to be hip or intelligent. I guess if a bunch of random noise put together to appear "deep" is your thing you should buy this album. If you have any taste stay far away. Thom Yorke is also the AntiChrist.

As far as lo-fi goes, this took the sub-genre in a whole new direction. Not for everyone, and you'll be hard-pressed to find hit single potential in any of these early 90's noise pop-rock confections, but the lyrics are strong, with a strong Anne Frank theme throughout. If you enjoy this kind of music, you will fall in love with this album. It's as simple as that!

This album is simply beautiful. IMO, Smashing Pumpkins is one of the great bands that came out of the 90s and honestly, no band today can compare to what Smashing Pumpkins was able to do. Their music is so distinctive and unique that you know when it's a Smashing Pumpkins song you're listening to.
Some of the songs on this album: Disarm, Today, Rocket, Cherub Rock, and Mayonaise. Frankly, the entire album is awesome, you can't go wrong buying this album as all the songs are incredible. I'll just give a few thoughts of a few of the songs I mentioned.
I think Disarm has a pensive and somber tone, with the strings giving an almost bittersweet sound, and of course Billy Corgan's unmistakable voice that just makes the song perfect.

A lot of people hate this record and its predecessor, "Kid A". I mean, they really HATE them. I know Radiohead fans who threw them out after a week. That's understandable, if rather drastic. In the '90s, Radiohead were dependable for a great alternative rock anthem. They were good at it -- maybe too good. "Pablo Honey" is a good (not great) record and "The Bends" is better still. But when "OK Computer" hit, everyone went crazy. It got saddled with "Best Album of the Decade" tags. It mixed Radiohead's established strengths with considerably better lyrics and just enough experimentation to please those who were bored with the more conventional formulas of the band's previous two albums. No doubt about it, "OK Computer" is a master piece of an album. It's rare that a record can have twelve songs ... Read More:

Wanna Be startin somethin: the Groove and I call it the Jump beat vibe is Classic MJ. His vocals and the Background Swing era call and response and then the trademark classic ending are what classic songs are all about.
Baby Be Mine: this Jam hits so hard and soulful and you can make the argument that this Rod Temperton classic was a Pre-Cursor to New Jack swing on the Groove and those ... Read More:
