My kids love this CD. All the songs are so catchy they get stuck in your head, which is not really a bad thing. Highly recommend this CD to anyone.

Like many before me, I watched this as a kid in school for several years and was surprised to see a DVD release. The DVD has versions of songs not on the CD (a young Michael Jackson for example).

BUT

The DVD quality is pretty bad. It looks like someone put a video camera on a tripod and pointed it at the wall showing the old film on a screen (complete with things blocking the view) - I'm serious. They didn't remaster it or even do a quality transfer.

This may be the only version you will see on DVD so holding off may not be wise if you have no other copy. I pulled a copy from Showtime a LONG Time ago and it's MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the DVD. How sad...

To all the parents, I like to call Justin Roberts the Bare Naked Ladies of children's music. I enjoy listening to it almost as much as my son. We had the pleasure of seeing Justin Roberts, et al, perform the week Pop Fly was released. We picked up the CD at the show and listened to it on the way home. This is the only CD that my son asks for by name and, having seen the songs performed live, does all of the associated hand gestures ("She's a Yellow Reflector"). To me, it's a must buy!!

My twins are Einstein fanatics and I thought it would be great to have a Cd of some of the songs from the show. The CD is basically a few of the shows on CD, not much for songs, just the episodes.

My 4 year old son listens to this CD everynight before going to bed. He has memorized all the songs, including the ones in Zulu. It got him interested in the world map, in Africa, and in various animals like cheetahs and lions. He took note of the boy who turned into a 5-legged cat for picking on and laughing at other people.

He listens intently and sympathetically to the story/song about children who only see their fathers once a year. My son dances with joy, just as one would imagine the children in the stories, would do so upon a happy reunion, or upon receiving a precious dress or some treats that are hard to come by. The service I received from Amazon was great in regards to this product. But I was a little disappointed in the product itself, only because I wish the songs and singing were a little more upbeat. Other than that its fine.

This is definitely a must have for the kids. It teaches them some of the songs that churches don't sing anymore. I enjoyed listening to the Veggies' take on some of the traditional songs. In fact I've taken it and incorporated some of the runs in the music into our own church's Sunday morning music. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.
