Journey has a special place in the heart of anyone who fell in love in the 1980s. Having seen them with Glass Tiger on their Raised on Radio Tour, I can say Steve Perry was Journey. Anything else was Bad English (not a bad group either).
This CD has what you are looking for. It is something to put in the car on a 1 hour drive and loose yourself. Be careful not to play air drums on Separate Ways (Worlds Apart).
If you like a couple of Journey songs, but don't have all of these in your MP3 collection, download them now. But listen to them in order.
I bought my original CD in 1988, the day after Thanksgiving at the Strawberries at Downtown Crossing in Boston. When I got married in 1997, this was one ... Read More:

This is the greatest cd I ever got. It truly brings back the memories and you end up singing the songs even after the cd has stopped. It was truly worth getting!!!

This doesn't strike me as a "Greatest Hits" exactly, but is a good studio collection for a great sale price. All in all, it has a nice mellow quality about it, but if you're looking for something with more "adrenaline", go for the live recordings of the "Nine Tonight" cd.

great cd if all the tracks worked. I returned the first to amazon because track 7 just stops and won't play. I recieved a replacement and track 7 just stops and won't play. I have to forward it to track 8 to finish listening. My player plays all my other 80 plus cds fine. So the problem is in this cd.

Wow. Carrie's debut CD, Some Hearts, is an A+ debut. Every single track is great, a fact I can apply to hardly any other CDs. This is also one of the few CDs I actually own (not in digital form)- it's that good! Carnival Ride is pretty good as well, but Some Hearts is (so far) the best of Carrie's work.

TMBG's excellent first kids album "No!" was practically the return of the days of "Flood" and "Lincoln". But on this album, too many songs seem to only appeal to kids. The songs have the variety that TMBG fans have grown to love. Many songs have the great TMBG lyrics. What could go wrong?
Many songs get so elementary that they tend to lose adults. "Letter/Not a Letter" and "The Vowel Family" are good examples. When I thought I would write off the album, I got something like "Can You Find It" or "Alphabet Lost and Found", which have all the heart a TMBG song could have.
There is a problem with TMBG that many fans don't admit. They write and create 100 songs a year, but some of them are just thrown together to make a quota. ... Read More:

As a longtime Bruce fan, I found this release just a tad bit disappointing. I still bought it and it's a great single-disc collection, nonetheless.
But now there are so many other collections. '18 Tracks,' 'The Essential Bruce Springsteen' and the 'Live 1975-85' are all out, and are quite a bit better than this, especially '18 Tracks.'
But this has all of the Bruce standards. 'Born To Run,' 'Badlands,' 'Hungry Heart,' 'Atlantic City,' 'Thunder Road,' and 'The River' are all on this set. And the sound quality is superb.
But why didn't they include a song like 'Rosalita,' 'Tenth Avenue Freeze Out,' 'The Tunnel Of Love' or 'Blinded By The Light' as opposed to one of the new songs like 'Secret Garden'? I loved the two ... Read More:

I didn't buy many albums last year, but this was the best by a million miles. I listen to it everyday. I have had it in CD player for a year. I also bought the digital album as well. I want them to keep making great albums like this. I could run down each track and say why it's great, but that's not needed. It's just a great listen the whole way through. The first song that stood out to me was the last track "Storm" because it's emotional. The same thing with "Broken". It's just so beautiful. You can click on the song title to read my review on that song. I am so mad they made a radio remix because I want people to hear this album version that is perfect. "Learn You Inside Out" is great too. The way he says "Insiiiiiide out" twice during the song gives me chills.
