I bought this CD for my toddler after hearing Rocketship Run on Jack's Big Music Show. The whole family loves this CD...even my husband who typically can't stand kids' shows, cartoons, or anything else marketed to kids. These songs are happy and playful without being annoying or condescending. They stick in our heads like glue, but none of us mind. It's nice to be able to listen to something in the car that we can all enjoy and sing along to. Plus I love the look on my son's face when he starts singing one of the songs and my husband joins in!

Do you like the other Big Phat Band CDs? Do you like big band? Then what's not to like about this one!

This CD if very true to Gordon Goodwin's style. He's such a great writer and musician, I have no doubt that he will go down in history as one of the greats

Absolutely buy this now! It says 10.99 on amazon, and that's a small price to pay for so many listens. Buyyyyyyyy :)

Some great songs (Her Strut/Rock & Roll Never Forgets) some lame fillers. Seger's stuff is not on iTunes, so not being able to buy individual songs forces you to buy whole CD's-a strategy that maximizes Bob's net worth-not yours.

Great music. I bought this CD after I bought Cease to Begin by the same artist. The two CDs by Band of Horses have been a regular in my CD player ever since. I highly recommend Band of Horses.

Grapefruit Moon: The Songs Of Tom Waits

This CD is more about LaBamba's band than it is hearing Southside Johnny singing Tom Waits. I really wanted to hear Southside's take on Waltzing Matilda but that would be too slow and wouldn't fit the flavor of the CD.

I have been going to see this band for over 5 years, treking all over Texas, and loving every second of it. I came across them when they opened for Roger Creager and I have been a diehard ever since. This CD is the culmination of all their hard work, blood, sweat & tears. Yet, a CD cannot compare to seeing them on stage. Each member brings his personality to the stage and they all mesh to create a performance of pure energy. If you like the CD I strongly encourage you to go to a show. You'll be hooked!

Crash

I would like to state that I am a Dave Matthews fan and own all of his albums. Crash is hands down not only my favorite DMB album but on my top list of all cds (I own over a 1000 cds).

The DMB is known as a touring band that can take any song and turn it into a 10 minute jam. Most of the crowd favorites of any concert are songs off the Crash album. In my opinion the entire album is solid from the well known to the least known. I would be comfortable in saying that the DMB should offer a money back gurantee on this album since everyone that I know enjoys it including a buddy who listens to bands such as Slayer.
