Definitive and concise. Shy Fx and T Power have done it again. They bring you some of the best Jungle/Drum and Bass that the UK has to offer. Off the hook production and Great vocals. Every track is a hit and you can play the whole CD non-stop. I should have known to get this sooner considering how breakthrough their debut album "Set it Off" proved to be. Don't sleep on this one. I have been playing it all summer and the Digital Soundboy podcast takes it to another level. To bad I am 3 years late, but better late then never. I do hope one day the US market will embrace this sound. I have been listening to DnB since '96 and even went to London in '05 to Bounce to the most legendary DJ's in the genre. DnB there is nothing like it.

This album is chock-full of excellent early trip/hop tracks most influenced by jazz and r&b. This (and the Volume 1 edition) introduced me to trip-hop and eventually electronic music in the early 90's, and to this day I still listen to it when I want some mellow but not at all boring or newagey music to chill by. Kruder & Dorfmeister, Massive Attack, Portishead and Hooverphonic fans will probably find this record to their liking.

hands down one of the best albums ever. as a long time fan of Mark Royal stuff I was a little put off my first time through the album but it has since become a mainstay of my music collection. a work of genius by a genius worker.

seems to flawlessly manage what often sounds like(in other artists works) an awkward combining of vocals and breakbeats. not as atmospheric as Waveform or the Chocolate Weasel stuff, more DandB and not as many samples but still the work of a breakbeat genius.
