I have Go and Go Live on vinyl. Many years ago a good friend and Stevie Winwood fanatic turned me on to this album. To me it's like the "Lost Pink Floyd" album. Like the sequel to "Dark Side of the Moon." It's every bit as spacey and every bit as well composed and well played (Maybe even better).
I have yet to pick up the complete Go Sessions, but will as soon as the budget allows. I just listened to the LP's the other night after not hearing them in years. They hold up well. This is a "band" I'd love to see reunite and tour!
Release Date May 30, 2005
I bought the record in the late 70's but wore it out. Glad to see the finally released it on CD. This is a very cool fusion/new-age sound. Outstanding tune would be "Crossing The Line".
Probably the 1st Supergroup, featured Steve Winwood, Al Dimeola, Michael Shrieve, Klaus Schulze & Stomu Yamashta.

So, the opening pipe organ theme from, I believe, Judas Iscariot-- is it not the same theme as in Andrew Lloyd Weber's Phantom of the Opera? Or maybe it was 'borrowed' without credit from an even older composer.
