Why do I say it's the best album in the last 5 years? Because it never comes out of my play list, I play the songs on this album more than any other.

It sucks when you go out and buy an album, take it home (or download), start to listen and you find out that the one song you liked is the only good one, or maybe your lucky and you find that half of them are ok...with this album they are all outstanding.

If you buy the DVD or download it don't worry, all the songs are great.

This is the best Something Corporate album out there so if you happen to like them, have heard of them, have an album or a song...get this album, you'll enjoy it.

If you're looking for the SoCo sound of Ready...Break!, Leaving Through The Window, or Audioboxer, this is not for you.

"North" does nothing more than predict Andrew McMahon's betrayal of SoCo's fans... it sounds like Jack's Mannequin, not SoCo.

In my opinion, Andrew's vocal and piano style doesn't fit the darker, more serious mood of "North" or the Jack's Mannequin material. It sounds very forced.

Audioboxer

If you already own Leaving Through The Window you'll already have a few of these songs. Repeats are Hurricane, If you C Jordan, and Punk Rock Princess.

This leaves you with three great songs Bad Day, Little, Walking By of which 'Little' is my favorite (but thats just because I like up tempo songs) 'Walking By' is the better song and if you like Something Corporate at all you should definitely check it out.

My recommendation is to buy Leaving Through The Window and go download Bad Day, Little, Walking By. Individually I give Bad Day ***, Little ****, Walking By ***** in stars.

Songs for Silent Movies

Pretty nice album. The live tracks are great. The acoustic version of "I Want To Save You" doesn't quite live up to the original, but is fun to own. The main reason to get this album is if you are a fan of the band and want a copy of Forget December and Konstatine. Whether you think Konstatine is an amazing song or not, the only album that had it was out of print until the release of this EP. I am a fan of the song and happy to finally get a legal copy of it :)

I'm not going to bother doing an in-depth review of this album, you can head over to the north american version of this CD to find 100+ of those.

Instead I'll cover the two extra songs.
Walking By - I havent' got this version, but I'm assuming it is the same version of the song that is on Audioboxer, making it one of the most beautiful songs you've ever heard. Except...wait a minute...you can get it on Audioboxer.
Little - A very pretty song. One of my favorites on Audioboxer. Except...wait...you can get this on Audioboxer.

Do you happen to see where this is going? Yes, indeed. I'd suggest that unless you have a lot of money to spend, buy Audio Boxer and the version of Leaving Through The Window that doesn't include "little" ... Read More:
