This is such a wonderful CD! I have been listening to it every morning as I work and her beautiful voice eases me into the swing of things! My favorite track is "By Thy Grace" where she merges Country, Sacred, Acoustic, Gospel, and Chanting into a rich flowing musical prayer! Viva!

I was first introduced to this lovely woman in a yoga class. Her music, message, and energy leave me speechless. This is a good CD to have to get familiar with her. It is easy to listen to if you are not a Sufi
( not too difficult to understand ), and the melodies are just gorgeous.
The " Grace " recording is also beautiful.

Buy Anand (Anand means 'Bliss' in Sanskrit) and listen for yourself. If you aren't moved to tears and cannot appreciate the beauty of what you are experiencing, then you better check your pulse! If you do have a pulse, I'm sure you will not fail to sense Snatam Kaur's connection with the sacred. This is heartfelt, spiritual music in the purest sense of the word. It will enrich your life. I also highly recommend her 2002 album Prem (Prem is from the Sanskrit 'Preman', meaning 'Divine Love'), which is also a gem to behold.

Celebrate Peace

This music is truly heaven sent. I find peace each time her music comes on and mantra is so effective, especially if you can be still and let it enter you on all levels. Simply wonderful.

I was initially going to write a review for Snatams' Cd Grace. It doesn't really matter, for they are both equally gorgeous. Then I saw some negative reviews for Shanti. I must say I was stunned. I can not fathom a person who listens to meditative music not loving this Cd or others in her catalogue. I agree that the chants and music can be repetitive. But these are Mantras and Chants, what would you expect.
I first listened to this angel by accident. I was looking for a different Cd from another artist a few years ago, on another website. The background music was the song Akhan Jor. I was completely blown away by the sheer beauty and eloquence of her voice and the song. I immediatly purchased the Cd and can't even remember who the other singer was ... Read More:

Mother's Blessing

I would say out of the many albums I have had the opportunity to listen too over the years. I am happy to say this album is full of light and inspiration for all to listen too. I feel the Mother of us all in the singing. I am not so sure that the person's playing the instruments hold the same vibration as the singer's, however this is irrelavent to this album. I am a devotee of Yogananda and all their music as SRF holds dear to my heart. As it is very difficult to find music that is pure today!!! If you are looking for that. Then this is for you. Many do not have a clue what is being music and sounds around us does to our conciousness. We are mostly oblivious to this. Thank you for performing and giving us something clean and pure for us all to enjoy ... Read More:
