I have been a fan for exactly 1 year and I am very impressed with what Slipknot has created. This song (Spit it out) is a prime example of what they have done and what they will do. I was impressed and maybe you will be to. This is truely a kick A$$ song. SLIPKNOT KILLS ALL!!!

Slipknot is (in my oppinion) the greatest band that ever walked the earth. I had the chance to meet them and i must say, they are down to earth, all around cool guys. although iowa is acclaimed to be a "sell out" album, note the new director for vol.3 subliminal verses... it explains a lot. i learned (in my personal interview with cory, that he "cant always express himself the way he really wants to with slipknot", hence the "break". the new sound of vol.3, is a sign of persistance, a sign of talent, that he can, and he does have the ability to express himself. so for all of you trendy wanna-be's who never listened to slipknot before vol.3, and the ones who think stonesour has nothing in common with sliknot, this is my middle finger to you. you ... The version of My Plague on this single is remixed. How is it different? Well, as with most Slipknot remixes, it's more of a reperformance. The song has been polished up a bit, and yes the song is shorter, but also tighter, which is good cuz it keeps u on ur toes and ensures that u won't get bored with it. If I had to make one complaint it would be that the reverb effect in the chorus vocals from the Iowa version is gone, but it's not a big deal. I would recommend getting the Resident Evil soundtrack instead of the single, since u'll get more bang for ur buck.
The one, main, and ONLY reason to get this single is for the Full Leingth Mix version of the title track. It's exactly what you hear on the "Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)" album, but warped into what you hear on the Music Video version. And unlike the music video version, it's the full leingth (5 minutes and 23 seconds) song.
The differences between the Volume 3 version, and the 2 MIXED versions are as followed:
1-The "she isn't real" SCREAMED part, in the FULL mixed version before the end is faded into the background, and SINGING ... Read More:

...as far as Slipknot go they have had a rather sucessful career...many adoring fans (maggots? The patriotic references are rather disturbing) and of course their music is played on mainstream metal radio stations across the globe...
...their image has always been one of the quirks that repel certain people thus drawing in others...making random people shout out words such as "THEY'RE SATANIC BECAUSE I ASSUME THEY ARE!!!" And awkward controversies (spellcheck) meant they were seemed as "different"...the look has of course been done before my mushroomhead but I'm not going to go into a copyright ramble...
...so what did I think of their first album? I can understand why people would like them but their methods of execution aren't ... Read More:
