A very great cd. Third album, smashing hits. They have come a long way in a few short years. I love Turn on the lights, We need each other, Whatever you're doing, sing, Leap of faith, Lay down my guns, Legacy... All the songs are valuable, plus another great feature; if you purchase the physical album, you have access to two other great songs, Hero and We need each other (acoustic), via download. Great music, great buy.

The Face of Love

I first saw these guys at a Lock-in at a small church in Port Clinton, Ohio years before they were signed. I new from that moment that these guys were going to make it big and if the didn't I would have been surprised. I bought two of their CDs that night and played the heck out of them. Fast-forward to today and I now own every one of Sanctus Real's albums and with every release they keep getting greater and greater! "The Face of Love" is by far my favorite CD of 2006. I've seen Santus Real Live several times and am amazed at the band's humility.

Say It Loud

I bought this after becoming a Sanctus fan around the Fight the Tide release, and following them through Face of Love. This album is solid - hard to believe it was a freshman release. If you like Sanctus, you'll love this album. Heck, if you like Christian rock you've gotta own this album. Also, as a sidenote, don't take them for lightweights: the radio releases are much softer than the album/original cuts in many cases.

This is the Sanctus Real version of "Nothing is Sound". Almost every track is right on the $$. Alone and Closer are obviously the two best tracks the band has recorded. I have them as ring tones on my RAZR. I hope they are working on a live album or a remix for those two plus Faces and Not Alright.

I acquired a taste for Christian music when I lived in Tampa, Florida. They have one of the best Christian Stations of anywhere called Spirit Fm and I realized that Christian music is not all Amy Grant and Micheal W. Smith (although they are great artists in their own right). Christian Music nowadays represents the rockers and the youth. This album has all the best artists on it like Nicole Nordeman and Shwan McDonald. ZoeGirl & Avalon are also amazing artists although not on this album, I would suggest that if you are in the market to find some good christian music, certainly check them out.
