Two things to highly recommend: 1) the song is remixed in a number of styles, so you aren't just stuck with one variation on a theme; and 2) the Ford Club remix is a slice of hard-edged, melodic, peak-dance-time heaven. One of my favorite mixes of the year.

I loved Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20 and this song is just sensual and also great to dance with. It deserved all the awards it recieved. It was well worth the purchase and its a song that won't be easily forgotten.

Over There - Songs From America's Wars

when I first listened to this CD, I was expecting to hear original recordings of some of the music. It turned out to be a soloist and a piano, sometimes enhanced with additional voices and instruments. would have been nice to have a little more colonial era selections, but I was more than satisfied with the songs from the Civil War and World War 1. The arrangements are just right, and the tenor does a great job. Great for singing along with!

First of all, I really respect Rob Thomas. I think he is a fanstastic songwriter and truly is an inspiration to me and my own musical endeavours (I have been a musician for over 20 years.)

But this "album" just really isn't up to par with Rob's talent and abilities. "Something to Be" was a great album, but in many regards it was a departure from Rob's usual styles as experienced from his many years with Matchbox Twenty. "Something More" is even more of a departure. The songs seem very uninspired, especially the supporting "band," which really feels like nothing more than computerized drum-box throw-ins.

I gave the CD one solid play-through with my wife - a Rob Thomas convert thanks to myself - and both of us felt rather dissapointed. ... Read More:

Lindemann's musicality, technique, and showmanship is evident
here on a very high level. Of particular interest is
his very effective use of plunger to subtly modify his sound.
The Gershwin preludes are especially entertaining. He uses
the extreme high high register a bit more frequently than
I would wish, but with high range this strong, it's easy to
see why he would want to use it.

This is, overall, extremely musical playing. Minor quibbles
can be made about intonation in some spots, but the listener
will forgive these when the playing is so infectious and
the tone so fine. I found myself laughing on occasion because
I was having so much fun listening to what the artist was doing
