My Son loves this CD. I know because he asks me to put it on everytime we get into the car. Luckily, I like it too. It's so cute, and not irritating at all. And the songs are really catchy so you'll be singing along with your kids.

My little boy loved the song "Woody's Roundup" from Toy Story 2 which is on here and the primary reason for my purchase. However, he and I soon fell in love with all of the other cuts in this collection. The songs are classic, the humor is outrageous and the chemistry that has kept these gentlemen together for so long really shines in this. It is just a fun CD to own and great for long rides in the car as everyone can sing along.

My two sons love Davy Crockett, so when we saw the Riders in the Sky in concert and heard this CD would be coming out we could hardly wait. The CD didn't disappoint us a bit, except maybe that it left us wanting more. Includes wonderful versions of the Crockett songs you've heard before such as the all famous "Ballad," "King of the River," and "Farewell," and new songs written by the Riders like "Headin' for Texas" (beautiful!). I highly recommend this! Brings back fond memories of the days when Davy was huge, and introduces a great hero to our children today, someone willing to fight for what's right ("Be Sure You're Right, And Then Go Ahead").

This was my first exposure to Riders in the Sky, and it was WAY back in 1981, just as I got out of the Army and was working at an electronics store while putting myself through college. We had a deal worked with the record store next door to us in the mall that they would loan us albums, and we would play them on our stereos. (We sold stereos, they sold albums.)

My wife and I were both Army musicians, so most pop music, including Country Western, just isn't my cup of tea. I was getting pretty sick of playing George Jones, but it sold stereos.
