Aqueminiby: OutKast Release Date September 29, 1998 this jumbly wombly babble is not really music, more angry poetry set to the copy-cat unimaginative "same-old" cadence of modern rap music whose main message is always violent and anti-beauty and art. I did want to listen to it because someone recommended it..keep an open mind you know, but I think music really needs to get past this stage. It's great as a musical experiment, but I'm hoping society can move forward into the future with better genres than this. If everybody listens to this junk, then our prisons will end up filled by the brainwashed. (..but that's only my opinion, so please don't come shoot me.) Have a nice day,. |

Jazzy Belleby: OutKast Release Date January 01, 1997 Outkast's 3rd single off "ATLiens", "Jazzy Belle", isn't as good as their previous songs, but it's solid nonetheless. The beat isn't anything spectacular, but there's some good scratching in the hook. The beat is on-par with "Elevators", the 2nd single off "ATLiens", but the hook isn't nearly as catchy. Still, another great release from Outkast, definately worth checking out if you're a fan. |

The Videosby: Outkast Release Date 2004 When I bought this item in a store, I looked over the list of videos on it, and saw that they ranged from "Player's Ball" (their first video) through "Hey Ya!" I figured that all the videos in that time period were on it. Unfortunately, of the 18 videos they did between and including "Player's Ball" and "Hey Ya!", only 10 are included. A better title for this DVD might be "Outkast: Some of the Videos" The most notable ones missing, in my opinion are "Rosa Parks" and "In Due Time" which are two of my three favorite OutKast videos. However, OutKast also did videos for "Benz or Beamer", "Jazzy Belle", "The Art of Story Tellin'", "Git Up, Git Out", "Skew it on the Bar-B", and "Land of a Million Drums", none of which are included. ...
