Outkast's 2nd single, "Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik", wasn't as sucessful as "Player's Ball", but I think it's just as good. There's a great southern beat in this one, and some horns in the background. The sung chorus is music to my ears. I've heard people complain about the verses being to long in this one, but I personally think they're just fine, because the great flow of Big Boi and Dre makes up for any excess length. If you're lukewarm, more casual or just getting into 'Kast, this really is the LP you should start with because you truly get a "Greatest Hits Pre-2003" sampling of this group's many styles and flavors.

They are in my opinion the greatest Hip-Hop group to come out of the south and one of the greatest period. This album is hot from beginning to end. It's their third album and third straight classic. They proved long ago with several other artist in that time that the south does have lyricist. If you are tired of that club happy crap that's coming out of the south right now, then go back and get the classics that made it possible for those songs to be heard.
