great band, great music. DVD with "old" hits is a bonus but i can only watch it in computer 'cos Im in Iceland but this one is for US and Canada - Anyway, my mistake!
I cannot say this cd is the best from Muse so far but whatever, all of them are good. Bellamy is a genious, no doubt.

The "Hullabaloo Soundtrack" is a mixed bag. Aside "Absolution," "Black Holes and Revelations" and "Origin of Symmetry," the studio Hullabaloo disc offers little comparison. This disc is what it is . . . a collection of leftovers that weren't good enough to be released on a regular LP. I suppose that we should be grateful that the material has been released since there are some highlights. The instrumentals stand out as both compelling and especially unusual in the Muse pantheon. If you're a Muse fanatic like me, you'll find these tunes interesting, but the material will never resonate like the songs on their more contemporary releases. Limbo

Limbo sounds more like falling in love feels than any album I have ever heard. By turns soothing, exhilarating, and thought-provoking, it is my favorite Muses album of all time. The complex rhythm structures and Hersh's angular vocal delivery are still there, but it's the band's balletic dynamic sense on this album that leaves me reeling every time.

Limbo sounds more like falling in love feels than any album I have ever heard. By turns soothing, exhilarating, and thought-provoking, it is my favorite Muses album of all time. The complex rhythm structures and Hersh's angular vocal delivery are still there, but it's the band's balletic dynamic sense on this album that leaves me reeling every time.

New Wave Christmas - Just Can't Get Enough

I really do love this CD but I do agree with the other reviewers who said that some of the artists on this CD are NOT New Wave groups. Specifically They Might Be Giants, The Buzz Of Delight, Chris Stamey Group and Mono Puff.
If these artists were replaced with the following:

Pet Shop Boys - It Doesn't Snow Often On Christmas
Erasure - God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
Depeche Mode - Christmas Island
Max Headroom - Merry Christmas, Santa Claus (You're A Lovely Guy)

I, Pat, would be a great deal happier. Anyhoo, that's all I have to say for now. I might be back to edit this review later; but until then... Have a Happy Christmas and a... Merry New Year... is that right?

I was disappointed that this only had 2 songs on it! I didn't even know that they made CD's with only one or two songs on them. I ordered it for my son for Christmas. Read the fine print is all I've got to say!

I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Album

Ok, so the movie was almost hated by everyone except for a choice few... me being one of them, but even if you dont like the movie you should pick up the soundtrack. The songs on this cd are great. My faves are The Din Pedals "Waterfall" this song is absoulutely beautiful, Our Lady Peace "Clumsy" Great Band, Great Song. Kula Shaker "Hush" This song just rocks, Type O Negative "Summer Breeze" Really cool remake of this song! Hooverphonic "2Wicky" this one is so awesome. All the songs are really well rounded but I think the best song on there is Adam Cohen "Don't Mean Anything" it is so dark and beautiful, has a malancholy feel its so haunting.... but great. Either way this cd is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time!!!

stunning melodies framed with absolutely brutal guitar, bass and drums. great lyrics too. haunting, uplifting and rockin'. what could be better?
