Firstly, I've been a muse fan since the age of nine, since the (monumental) day they released Uno back in the summer of '99. Over here in the UK, at least, Muse don't have the biggest fanbase, but their fans are definately dedicated. Feelin' Good is a firm favourite of mine, one of their best covers (please please please, let me get what i want - their brilliant smiths cover, and their version of can't take my eyes off you are definately worth a listen too.) and hyper music is definately worth a go too. Excellent b-sides to boot.

I must admit that I generally listen to jazz music. Frank Sintra, Dave Brubeck, and Harry Connick are among my favorites. I must also admit that when I first received Eric Topper's CD, I didn't listen to it that often. However, on a whim I popped Eric Topper's "Muse" into my CD player while working late one night. I was surprised as to what I'd been missing. This music is well written and skillfully executed. The rich artistry is apparent in my favorite track on the CD, "I Don't Mind." I highly recommend this CD for anyone who is looking for well written music played by a truly talented artist. I especially recommend this CD if you don't ususally listen to metal or rock. House Tornado

It's always great when you can find "new" material from a band that doesn't exist anymore. Even though I already have "House Tornado," I didn't hesitate to buy this CD for "The Fat Skier" ep. The songs are excellent and the production is very good too (wasn't sure what to expect from an ep). An earlier reviewer had commented that "Soul Soldier" wasn't included, which is true, but it can be found on "In a Doghouse."

Hullabaloo

The "Hullabaloo Soundtrack" is a mixed bag. Aside "Absolution," "Black Holes and Revelations" and "Origin of Symmetry," the studio Hullabaloo disc offers little comparison. This disc is what it is . . . a collection of leftovers that weren't good enough to be released on a regular LP. I suppose that we should be grateful that the material has been released since there are some highlights. The instrumentals stand out as both compelling and especially unusual in the Muse pantheon. If you're a Muse fanatic like me, you'll find these tunes interesting, but the material will never resonate like the songs on their more contemporary releases.
