Origin of Symmetryby: Muse Release Date November 20, 2001 I am ashamed to say that I have never heard of this band until I saw the movie "High Tension". After finishing the movie I waited for the credits to find out who the hell played the awesome theme of the movie... It was "Newborn" by Muse. I found this album and was amazed that EVERY track was just as if not more epic then than the first. They are a truly amazing band and I can't wait to get my hands on the previous and current releases. If you are a fan of Radiohead's less poppy tracks than you'll dig these guys. Not to say these guys are a rip off band but like all music you will find similar sounding bands... but this is not a Pearl Jam/Creed comparison. For all those that haven't heard this album you are really missing out. |

David Narcizo is one of the stand-out drummers of all time, jumping across complicated times with ease and eschewing cymbals for a highly individual sound. Leslie Langston on bass complements Narcizo to form a rock-solid rhythm section (this was to be her last album with the Muses).
