This is the worst "Preview" I have ever seen. I wanted to decide whether or not to buy this DVD movie and all you showed me were the titles. Is there vocales? Are they songs or speech, characters talking to each other?Is someone "reading" the book and CGI figures follow the script. If it's read, who reads it. I used to have a cassette of Richard Harris reading the book, it was wonderful...but I have lost it. Do you have sonething like that. Show me previews with some meat about what the DVD is really like, not just the credits. I want to buy, but not sight unseen.

I loved this CD with John Denver singing my favorite "Perhaps Love"

Having been raised in the Methodist tradition our world was brightened by this music and listening to the music is like going home!
My husband, from England and the anglican tradition, says that was raised with this music also, and loves to relax and listen to it as it takes hime back too! What a gift!

The Great Fantasy Adventure Album

Well, I suppose that depends on the type of music you're testing your equipment for. However, go to almost any online discussion of audio equipment, particularly subwoofers, and you'll come across this disc. Sure, most of the other reviewers mention the sound effects in less than glowing terms. It remains though that this disc contains some of the crazy lowest signals one can buy on disc. The T rex footsteps shake the windows in my house despite being below my hearing range with my Velodyne 12" sub. Incredible stuff. And the glass shattering sound effects in the Terminator theme can melt your tweeters too if turned up too loud. Don't take yourself too seriously for a few minutes and enjoy the noise!

Mists of Avalon : Original Television Soundtrack

The television movie was wonderful; but I guess I forgot how many drums and banging noises were in the background. Loreena McKennitt is wonderful to listen to, but it's not the soothing soundtrack I was hoping for with the Ahhhhhhhhhh singing and clanging of steel.

The Magnificent Westerns

These CD's are are constant companions that I listen to on my way to work in the morning...Nic Raine and his orchestra do a superb job rendering the themes, but some of the vocals, especially the one for Rawhide, make me yearn for the originals. All in all, it's a great set, definetely worth the money for a 40-50something baby boomer.

Way Out West: The Essential Western Film Music Collection, Vol. 2

Excellent. I listen to the sounds of old and classic Western themes while on my frequent and long car travel for contract work, and driving through the country side listening to these wonderful old sounds is a great experience. I remember some of the great classic images,cinematography, and acting, and see them in my mind. Great collection. The only draw back is that some of the soundtracks are not the original ones, but the memory is still there.
