This is a most enjoyable cd. The music selection is varied, creative and powerful. I think this concert was so special. I'm not particularly classical music oriented, but I did enjoy this music and have listened to the cd many times over. It is the depth of voices, clearness of notes and the fun the 3 tenors were having that really enchanted me. These three tenors have such a gift to give and do give it most generously. Most of the songs are classic Italian so that even people like myself who aren't necessarily opera buffs will enjoy hearing these voices even if they cannot understand a word. Most likely I will order more of this type of music.

This dvd was purchased as an early Mother's Day Present for my elderly mother. She has watched it nearly every night because she can't get enough. As an opera lover myself, absolutely loved the Karoeke of O Sole Mio! We were totally surprised about the "Impossible Dream" dvd of the making of this "historic" video. It is worth purchasing solely based on the historic nature of this concert. It was really beyond our wildest expectations. The price is well worth it.

What beautiful music. I'm new to opera, but the tracks on this CD are awesome. My only complaint is that Nessun Dorma is the last tract...so I start out there first.

The Legendary Enrico Caruso: 21 Favorite Arias

Beautiful sound considering the condition of the source recordings. One of the best digitally "cleaned up" releases I've heard. Even with the sonic limitations of the age of the original recordings you can hear why the world remains in awe of his voice. Remember that he sang these into a horn that mechanically used a needle to scratch a wax recording blank. Just like the RCA Red Seal dog (His Master's Voice) in reverse. The value is incomparable.

Amazing Grace

An excellent product. My memory of the old vinyl disk from which it derived ("Farewell to the Greys") is that it was better, but this one is excellent all the same. Probably the bands have become so famous since the first vinyl record they have gotten a little 'stale' with thousands of performances.

This disc reminded me of Leonard Bernstein's conducting: somehow many of his conducting session became marches. Many tracks on this disc is like that. I am a novice when it comes to classical music, so part of allure of this disc was that it contained many titles I didn't recognize, so it wasn't a total loss. I guess I should have read the track listing more carefully... what is Washington Post by Sousa doing on dance compilation?

Callas: Complete Studio Recordings

Callas is one of my favorite, and this package offers a unique chance for her fans to enjoy her beauty heritage in studio. Generally speaking, quality is good and acceptable at this price.

However, the only problem I had is that I got two CD 29, but without CD30. This is quite annoying. Though I could ask for return following amazon rule, sending it back from China to US? I won't do this because it's too troublesome...
