Great way to end a great life. This was a return to the old Carlin. He will always be one of the greats of comedy. We will miss his unique outlook toward life and his insightful thoughts.
Release Date September 12, 2000
If you're only familiar with George Carlin through his aggressive, vitriolic, and occasionally vicious latter-day material, early work like Class Clown may come as something as a surprise. On first listen, the album seems almost mild mannered. Not only is it free of the machine gun profanity that would come to mark the comedian's style, but the material itself is a far cry from the raw cynicism that would inform You Are All Diseased and Brain Droppings: The first track, for example, is an epic recollection of Carlin's schoolboy antics, full of cheeky observations on knuckle cracking, funny voices, and armpit noises. The whole thing captures him in a seemingly friendly, genial mood. Of course, Carlin was never innocent. He always had a dirty ... Read More:

This is one of my favorite Carlin's and I was lucky enough to see him live performing most of this material. I love the place for my stuff monologue "going up in the airplane looking down at all the little places full of stuff." The fussy eater always reminded me of things my mother said and along the way George interjects his hilarious "announcements."
Along with Class Clown and Toledo Window Box, this is one of the best early Carlin discs to get!
Release Date September 12, 2000
This disk was my introduction to Carlin and I was hooked. Full of classic hilarious lines "Tonight's forecast ... Dark," "Not anymore Monty" and introduced a lot of things our mothers would say. This was way before he became over political in his act and the majority of the material is gut-wrenching belly laugh humor at its best! George is definately the best comic genious of our time!
Release Date May 18, 1999
I have all of Carlin's albums, since I enjoy both his light-hearted observations of life's little moments and his scathing social criticism. I agree with most of his points on YOU ARE ALL DISEASED, but he's just not funny on this album. Carlin's attempts at humor here lie primarily in the exaggerations he uses when complaining about things, not in the subtle asides he mixes in with the complaints, as he did in BACK IN TOWN and JAMMING IN NEW YORK. The first time I heard YOU ARE ALL DISEASED, I didn't have a hearty laugh until halfway through the record. As I said before, I agree with most of his opinions here, but -- for humor -- on this album George is at the least creative and laziest point in his career.

I've been a Carlin fan for decades and recently saw him during his It's Bad For Ya tour. Never seen a funnier, more true patriotic american than Carlin. As others have said not every track is a master (he goes a bit overboard with the suicide-channel bit), but he does make you think.
My personal favorite is his "attack" on dumb americans. We don't like to admit it, but we are as long as we continue to follow and praise a system that doesn't care about us...at all!! When you really think about it, you'll (hopefully) realize that Uncle George is right!
Release Date December 11, 2001
I know a lot of people didn't like this one because George seemed a little "too angry"....but the friggin' DVD is called Complaints and Grievances!!! It says in the title that he's got some s*** to get off his chest! Well either way...I was highly amused by Carlin's observations. No regrets on pickin' this one up. Enjoy!
Release Date March 20, 2001
When George Carlin passed away, I realized how much I always loved all his 'stuff' and wondered why I did't have any of it. This is the first one I just bought, and I will eventually buy everything. I laughed all the way to work listening to George and remembering.
