never thought i would say this but i wish i had gotten the "dirty version"
instead
some of the songs dont sound right
especially glamorous

take your broke broke home instead of broke a++ home

it did sound wrong

i normally dont mind clean versions

this time i did

i may get the dirty version just to hear it in its original context

overall its a great cd

I had 101% satisfaction when I bought Wilson Phillips debut CD years ago. I have never known this group called Wild Orchid but my instinct dictated me to try this CD. I never realised that one of the members of this trio is Stacey Ferguson of The Black Eyed Peas until lately. That's before she was recruited by The Peas to lead the hip hop group's voice. Fergie just rocks! I like the smoothness of "The River" and the soulful "At Night I Pray". In general, this CD is highly recommended.

This is my first Fergie CD. I did enjoy it but I had to listen to it a few times for it to grow on me. I bought it because Big Girls Don't Cry was on the CD. I may go the way of a IPod in the future. I like her voice and most, not all, of the songs, however, it is very rare to like every song on a CD so all in all it is a good CD.

And trust me; at times I'm one of *the* most serious cats in the room. But tonight I wanna shake my butt to "London Bridge" and nod my head to a nothing-very-deep ditty, "Clumsy". Am I wrong?

Haha. Nothing classic. Will be long gone and forgotten in 10 years. But Her stage presence and Her voice will never ever be denied. Something tells me that Her material will have more depth next time around. She may even pen a song or two for the next release.

In "Clumsy",Fergie experiments with ska and reggae. She's encroaching on No Doubt's territory! She's impersonating Gwen Stefani! A tragic kingdom indeed.

"Clumsy" is all about love-induced clumsiness. And boy,is it clumsy with randomly thrown in raps,along with intrusive beeping and booping. Techno-reggae can work. In this case,it doesn't. In this song, Fergie stumbles.
