Rob Reiner's movie entitled When Harry Met Sally deserves the fine soundtrack it had; and this CD of songs based on the movie soundtrack will delight you, too. Sure, these renditions are not what you'll hear when you watch the movie; but this CD gives us plenty to be happy about anyway.

Harry Connick, Jr. was just hitting the big time when he was tapped for this film; and this CD proves he had great talent from the start. Even though he was a mere 21 at the time these songs were recorded, Harry displays a mature and polished sensitivity to the nuances in the lyrics of these songs. Harry croons wonderfully on this CD.

Loved the first movie of Brother Bear. As always Phil does the music justice by offering his heartfelt vocals to this touching movie about spiritual practices, and the connections we all have to everything and every living being. My lil one and I rock out on this one!

Fantastic CDS based on the stageplay and video. I missed Angela Lansbury as Ruth but it is a fanatastic recording and interpretation of Gilbert and Sullivan's operetta.

To Kill A Mockingbird: Original Motion Picture Score (1996 Re-recording)

Undoubtedly TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD is a masterpiece score, and no small thanks goes to orchestrators Leo Shuken and Jack Hayes. In addition to this fine (but rather over-produced Varese recording) is the Mainstream CD re-issue of the original Ava LP release. Sadly not only is the Mainstream CD deleted, but it was missing one track and several other tracks have become distorted, perhaps due to improper storage. Screen Archives currently offer a 1970's re-recording as part of an 11 CD set, this one with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, also conducted by Bernstein. I recommend this as closest to the original, other than the actual Ava LP.

As a rule, I am not into rap or rhythm'n'blues, I listen to other kind of music, but I have to admit I LOVE this song. It's happy and catchy, like another reviewer said. It's no wonder, when Kanye West and John Legend are involved, you can only expect good songs.
