I'm just her to say to you all this is not the Edgewater you think it is. Its completely another artist. Their official website does not even mention this album. And by the way it does suck more than you can ever imagine! lol

We're Not Robots...

by: Edgewater

Release Date August 22, 2006
Although I found edgewater's first album, south of sideways, to be very boring and uninspired, my curious nature got the best of me and I had to hear We're Not Robots. The first thing I noticed was that everything seemed more focused. All the songs had a very formulaic structure, which certainly isn't a bad thing in rock music. Where South Of Sideways struggled to keep the listeners attention, We're Not Robots makes up for ten-fold, with urgent vocals and big sing-a-long chorus'. A year ago I would have told you that Edgewater were a boring and immature group of musicians, but after listening to We're Not Robots, I've changed my mind.

Some people have compared the style on Robots to that of an early Linkin Park. I say, what's wrong ... Read More:

South of Sideways

by: Edgewater

Release Date April 06, 2004
This is probably the best CD that has come this decade. I have heard and read a lot of issues surrounding originality. I completely disagree with anyone that says that this band is unoriginal. Just listen to "Tres Quatros". Although I do not really understand how the title has anything to do with the song, I have never heard a song structured in this way. I love every single song on this CD. Circles, Break Me Out, The Story Of..., and Tres Quatros are definitely my personal favorites. It's a real shame that these guys never got the radio play that some of their label-mates received and it seems that they have all but faded away. If you like rock or if you don't like rock, pick up this CD.

This group is versatile and unique in their sound. If you are lucky enough to live in Hawaii, seeing them in person is even better.

Edgewater

from: Forevergreen Records

Release Date November 23, 1999
When my brother first sent me this CD, I wasn't too sure about it, because I am not a heavy metal fan. But I listened, and now I'm hooked. I get many of Edgewater's tunes stuck in my head for weeks after listening to it. My favorite tracks on their first CD are Tres Quatros, As If You Know Me, and Anthem. I hear these guys are awesome live.

I'd recommend Edgewater's second CD "Lifter" as well. It's even better than "Edgewater". Eyes Wired Shut and Sweet Suffocation are very upbeat. Ode to You and Lifter are slow and thoughtful. Their tribute to Tom Petty with Won't Back Down is great too.

Their newest album "South of Sideways" is due in April '04. Can't wait to hear it. Right now, Edgewater is unknown ... Read More:
