Moulin Rouge 2

I first bought Moulin Rouge 2 soundtrack because I wanted the songs from the movie w/ the actual singers. But there's little of that on this soundtrack. It's a good compliment to the first soundtrack, but my collection still feels very short. Even with both CDs, I am still missing the *original* versions of the songs, sung by the actors, as they are sung IN the movie. The ones sung by the actors are remixed for the soundtracks, and most of them are not sung by the actors. There are a couple of instrumentals on this CD as well, which personally I don't care for. I bought the CD because I wanted to hear Ewan and Nicole sing, not a bunch of instruments!

Soothing Sanctuary

Highly recommended. If ever someone needed help unwinding, it's me. I've found several disks that help with that: Misty Forest Morning, Heart of Peace and this, among others. I have to say Soothing Sanctuary is one that I go back to most frequently. It is just beautiful and peaceful, tranquil, soothing, you know all those warm and fuzzy things. Glad I have it.

The music on this CD is very soothing and very relaxing. I bought this CD and decided to play it in my car and make it a sacred place so to speak. On the fourth day after having this CD play in my car I was running late taking my daughter to an appointment. A car changed into my lane without looking back causing me to slam on my brakes or rear end that car. With my brakes fully locked I went into a skid but was able to remain calm and correct the wheel but could not stop. Sacred Spirit Drums

Amazing world fusion music with a Native twist. This and Sacred Earth Drums are my current drumming favorites. I love the blends of instruments from around the world mixed in with Native American rhythms. It creates a whole new kind of music that in my opinion anyone interested in peace around the world should really dig!

Pillow Music - Natural Deep Sleep

Pillow Music is awesome!! I have difficulty falling asleep and this music really helps. I was skeptical that music could actually help, but it does. I put this disc on, spray my pillows with lavender aromatherapy spray and it's off to dreamland.

Robert Shaw can always be depended on to reveal a piece in all of its potential splendor, and this recording is no exception. It's a rather dated recording, but absolutely required for a well rounded choral/baroque collection. I felt very lucky to have been able to still obtain it here.
