I bought this cd to have on hand to help me relax during the labor and homebirth of my son. Every night for the last couple of weeks of my pregnancy I would play this cd when I would go to sleep at night. After listening to the cd every single night, I'm pretty sure my body equated hearing this music to sleep-- almost like self hypnosis. When I went into labor and the arrival of my son neared, my mom started filling up my birthing tub with water, lit all my candles, and out of all the cds I had set out for the birth my mom chose this one (not knowing that it was the one I had been listening to every night for weeks). Sleep Deeply

Sleep Deeply is just what it says! It helps you to relax and sleep. A massage therapist used this during my session and it relaxed me so that I decided I wanted one at home to use at night. It is beautiful music besides helping you to sleep.

Forest Piano

This is a wonderful CD I use it almost everyday in my quiet time with God. It is the most relaxing music. I love listening to the birds sing in the backgound. I had it playing one time with others and they insisted they heard birds outside. They barely belived me that it was a CD.

Solitudes: Thunderstorm in the Wilderness

The rain/thunderstorm sounds are great as well as the use of the surrounds, but most of these tracks have too many animal noises for my taste. I'd rather have just the rain/thunder. I knew this before purchasing thanks to other reviews, and I am still glad I made the purchase.

Piano Cascades

I like the mixture of the nature sounds with the piano, the melodies are quite beautiful, good for driving. If you prefer something without the nature sounds, but still enjoy the piano instrumentals, try a young gentleman called Justin Hunter, and Australian Independent artist. He's quite talented also.

Pachelbel: Forever By The Sea

I got in touch with the Canon from composer Pachelbel again a few weeks ago when I was watching the movie 'My Sassy Girl'. Fell instantly in love with this melody, so I decided to browse on the internet to see if there were any CDs which contained this song. Pachelbel: Forever By The Sea has the melody from Pachelbel's Canon in every song, mixed with ocean sounds. I think it's a beautiful mix, and very relaxing too!

Songbirds by the Stream

I love this CD! It has the sounds of the birds singing, water flowing in a stream and other nature sounds. It's very relaxing. It makes you feel like you are sitting next to the stream and the birds are all around singing. I highly recommend this CD.

Solitudes: Rocky Mountain Suite

This is another very good Cd in the solitudes-series. The nature sounds are gorgeous and the music makes it the perfect relaxing background music to listen to. Do not use it to go to sleep because the wolves can give you bad dreams.
Other than that is a Cd i can recommend buying.
