I have enjoyed Clay Akin's voice and style on his prevous albums, but they were not at the top of my "playlist." But this is a very different album in a number of ways. He has the same great voice, but this album is filled wit songs that have real meaning. In every song you can hear that he is saying something from the heart, and it seems to be very personal. This is the mark of an excellent artist -- he makes the listener feel what he is singng. If you like his style with the ballads and great vocals then I would wholeheartedly recommend this album.

A Thousand Different Ways

I loved Clay Aiken since his first audition with AI. The songs recorded here are some of my favorites and Clay's vocals are great but the sorry orchestra drowns out most of his voice and the quality of this RCA production is terrible! It seems to me that RCA cut corners and assigned the cheapest orchestra they could find and the recording quality is really sorry! I am so disappointed that RCA couldn't produce a better product as they afford other vocalists.

No disappointment here! As usual, his singing could give you chills. His range is unbelievable! He can hit notes that make you sit up and take notice. Excellent and recommend it to everyone.

It's always Christmas in my heart and for 2 months a year I get to drag out the Christmas music. And who has a more angelic voice? I love this album. I had to buy 3 more to give as gifts to foreign exchange students who had never heard of him before and fell in love.

Bridge Over Troubled Water/This Is The Night

This CD single is amazing! If you are a Clay Aiken fan and your jaw hit the floor when he performed on the season 2 finale, you have to own this CD. The way he takes Bridge Over Troubled Water and makes it his own is mind-boggling. This Is The Night is a great tune too. Your Clay Aiken collection is not complete without this addition.

The Way / Solitaire

Believe it or not, I have recently discovered Clay Aiken. Really wasn't a "music" person. Just watched "Idol" for the first time this past season. People were saying that the talent wasn't as good as in the past. I had no clue about that so I started to look at and listen to past Idols on UTube and found Daughtry--couldn't understand him exiting at 4th as he was good, and others. Then I found Clay. I have to say that I was blown away by him. His range is unbelievable and he sings with such feeling and passion. I loved Solitaire first and then bought everything. I haven't found one song I didn't like or wasn't moved by. He has got to be the best vocal in this generation.

Please satisfy Clay's song by all means in a Japanese version to which two bonus tracks adhere.
Clay is very popular also in Japan.
The number has not been decided yet though a Japanese version is put on the market as for new album "A Thousand Different Ways" in December.
How do it differ from an US version, and the enjoyment very now.
