I bought this years ago at a Borders in Delaware. I like Asia, a lot, but was very disappointed in this poor recording. I felt ripped off by the poor sound quality. Unfortunately I made the same mistake just last year with the very poor Quadra cd. Read the reviews and preview cd's if you can before buying things like this.

"Asia - Anthology" is a collection of Asia's greatest hits. While all of the music is the same as all other Asia albums (due to being a greatest collection), the combination of all the greatest hits is what is new and fresh. The ability to listen to all of the great Asia songs, like "Only Time Will Tell" and "Heat of the Moment" on one CD makes this production a true pleasure to add to any soft rock music lovers collection.
The lyrics of all Asia songs relate either to relationships or striving to succeed in everyday life struggles. While the vocals are solid and well with in the range of the lead singer, the instrumentation is what is the real hook for music lovers. This cd really is remarkable. Asia & Haaheim have created lush electronic music that bears an ambiance unlike anything else I've ever heard. In a way removed from musical tradition, the piece has a sacred part & a profane part juxtaposed. At the end there's a remix that's raging club techno. Crazy.

This cd really is remarkable. Asia & Haaheim have created lush electronic music that bears an ambiance unlike anything else I've ever heard. In a way removed from musical tradition, the piece has a sacred part & a profane part juxtaposed. At the end there's a remix that's raging club techno. Crazy.

After hearing "Abyssinean Dub" on Putumayo's album "World Lounge" and really enjoying it, I eventually decided to buy this CD. Even at the steep price, this CD is worthy every penny. I was expecting half of the CD to be terrible, but it turned out to be amazing. It contains some of the most relaxing music I've ever heard. It's great for a lazy afternoon, or as background music when you have friends over - - I even use it when studying. There is only one song on this CD that I don't particularly care for, but other than that, this CD is simply amazing. I would definitely buy another of their CDs.
