Release Date October 28, 1997
The music on this cd is just like the voices in the movie, the are very enjoyable to sing along with. I am very pleased with this product.
Release Date August 27, 1996
This is the first cd I have ever listened to straight through, and not wanted to skip a song or turn it off. The disc is well produced. Each track sort of takes you through a journey, that veers off to a fun party, or a reflective moment. But all in all, Aaliyah's voice just takes you in and brings you to a good place, while the cut throat beats, vibes and tempo does wonders.
Release Date July 17, 2001
Even in her afterlife, Aaliyah does not disappoint. Age Ain't Nothing But a Number was a sweet introduction into the industry. One In a Million was a brilliant sophomore album showcasing her maturing voice and her ever-evolving style. That leaves us with the red album, Aaliyah.
Aaliyah the album solidified her as a modern day legend, a true artist well ahead of her time. She takes so many risks on this CD and is successful with each one. She takes a leap from her high soaring soprano formula and blesses us with edgy, rock infused experimentation which would have surely risen her star status had she been around to reap the rewards of her labor.
Each and every song on this album is laced with style, honesty and a vibe not ... Read More:

If you loved Aaliyah when she first came out with "Back and Forth" until her untimely death with "Rock the Boat", "We Need A Resolution" and after her death with "I Miss You", then you have to have this collection. This is a compilation of all her works and it shows how much she grew and how much she was destined for. I will always miss her.

Release Date December 10, 2002
One of the greatest travesties to ever hot the music industry as a whole was the untimely death of its young star Aaliyah, a beautifully talented rising star who will never be replaced. `I Care 4 U' helps further prove that very fact, giving us some of her greatest hits coupled with some previously unreleased tracks to remind us of all she had left to offer. This album is a beautiful compilation. Sure it's missing some standout tracks, but that's mainly because all of her music was so exceptional. It's not your conventional `Greatest Hits' record since almost half of the tracks here are previously unreleased. Throughout Aaliyah's voice transcends and fills the listener's ears with pure pleasure.
Listening to `Back and Forth' brings back memories of the first ... Read More:

I only bought this for one song (R U That Somebody), so I can't really review the whole CD. But that song definitely gets 5 stars from me.
Release Date August 22, 1994
the start of the Great R.kelly-Isley Brothers Hook ups started here with this Cover. you know the Arruh trademark 90's sound as it was back in the day. Aaliyah sounded good. but the Re-Mix is Classic R.kelly Genius. He takes the cut into a whole different stratisphere with the Re-Mix.
Release Date March 01, 2004
First of all, let me just say that this my favorite R&B Record of all Time. Nothing else even comes close. Aaliyah did with this one album what generations of women after her have tried and failed (Ashanti, Tweet, Amerie, even Lauryn Hill to an extent) - and not even Aaliyah could top this album in her later career.
Note that this album was the first album to ever feature Missy Elliot and Timbaland, and its because of this CD that they were even noticed by the music industry. Credit Aaliyah for that.
We're talking music history here, so please take the time to go through this review in detail.
As an RnB teen star, Aaliyah is, or at least was, a more intruiging proposition than the other light-skinned, thin-voiced females who pose for men's magazines and ... Read More:
