This is definitely overall a great collection of 2Pac songs. It contains lots of the classics which include some of my favourite songs by him ever such as Hail Mary and So Many Tears. Plus some very impressive unreleased cuts like "Troublesome 96" and "Changes", the legendary Hit Em Up, and the much better original version of California Love.
It's a very good starting place for anyone who's thinking about getting into Pac's music. However if it as my job to put together a collection of Pac's work, I'd probably just do a "very best of" you know because out of Pac's hits there are a few overrated tracks such as "All Bout U" and "How Do U Want It" It would be much better I think to make up an album consisting of his very best cuts which ... Me Against the World

Admittedly, I was never a huge fan of his but this album made me respect the talent that this tragic figure had. What turned me onto this album was "Dear Mama." Having been raised by a single mom after she and my dad divorced, I could feel some of the emotions that 2PAC was relaying in this rap tune. Even my own mom liked this and she HATES rap!

Other songs that I liked were the title track, "So Many Tears" and "Young N***az." Overall, the whole album is a classic! Would highly recommend this album!

All Eyez on Me

I have been listening to this cd now since 1996 when i was in High school and it brings me back every time/every song. This was an awesome cd and still is. people up&coming in the game study it and use it in their own way. you can hear pac in countless people. Pac's spirit will always be there. The remixed version of some of his songs don't do it justice but some are cool as a newer feeling. all in all this is the best rap cd for me. give it a try if your part of my generation if your young you probably will never understand pac's influence on people...

This Album is a classic! It's old school, what more do u need? "Trapped" is not just a song, it's a story on how Police treated 2Pac And others in his neighborhood. The Whole album is a story, it isn't just music. I Highly recommend buying this album. it's worth the money!!

Even though I felt like Until The End Of Time was his best posthumous album Im still feeling this one though. Standout tracks on disc1: STILL BALLIN, WHEN WE RIDE ON OUR ENEMIES, CHANGED MAN, NEVER B PEACE, MAMA'S JUST A LITTLE GIRL, STREET FAME, LATE NIGHT, GHETTO STAR, THUGZ MANSION(Nas version) etc. Filler on disc 1: none. Standout tracks on disc 2:THUGZ MANSION, BETTER DAYZ, U CAN CALL, MILITARY MINDS, FAME, CATCHING FEELINGS, THERE U GO(humorous), THIS LIFE I LEAD, WHO DO YOU BELIEVE IN and THEY DONT GIVE A F*** ABOUT US. Filler on disc2: Fair Exchange remix. Bottom Line: this is the last good album that they put out of Tupac's before his memory and his music got destroyed by the likes of Suge Knight and Eminem. Hey E.J.,Your review doesnt make sense. You like tha CD but "let the thug rest in piece" and "no more Pac CDs".NO 2pac album is posthumous. Track 10 on disc one is proof that hes ALIVE. The reason I say 2Pac shouldn't have released this album is because I think if he knew how much it would have been passed over he wouldn't have let it out. There is so much raw and real effort and emotion 2Pac infused into every track on this album from 'Holler If Ya Hear Me'-the video raised pores back then; to the interlude 'Something 2 Die 4' into the prophetically named 'Last Wordz'. DJ Akshun and Special Ed add one of the most ill tracks for 'Pac to spit on:'Guess Who's Back'. 'Keep Ya Head Up' is the perfect prelude to the murderously dark title track, 'Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z...' that is easily the gem of the album...Here 'Pac gives a glimpse of the Makaveli on the threshold within threatening to emerge- akin to Anakin Skywalker beginning to give way to Darth Vader- following ... Still I Rise

I remember some of these songs from the unreleased One Nation album. This posthumous album was one of the few that I would give a pass because they didnt do such a bad job on it. My gripe with this album is Fatal Hussein is missing on some of these tracks and he was originally on them. Baby Dont Cry(Keep Your Head Up II), Letter To The President, Hell 4 A Hustler, Teardrops And Closed Caskets feat Nate Dogg are vintage 2pac and Outlawz tracks. Tatoo Tears, High Speed and as The World Turns are slammin highlights also. Still I Rise is cool but I liked the original version with Fatal better. Homeboyz is tight all around and the The Outlawz do well on tracks by themselves. U Can Be Touched and Y'all Dont Know Us are proof of that. There are two songs I dont like.
