I live in Barbados and my daughter told me to send some dvds for my grandson, they live in South Africa. I went online and find elmo on Amazon, i made the purchase and my daughter said that she receive the package in 6 days and when she took the dvds home, he started to watch them and he just loves them. He got up the next morning saying that he wants elmo. Almost every thing he has is of elmo. He will be 2 years old in November, and i will purchase some more dvds for him.

Very cute! One of my 22 month old son's favorites. We have seen many of the Sesame Street DVDs (including Elmo's World). With the real background, catchy songs and the cute story line this one keeps us coming back.

I'm from Germany. In 1969, we moved to California for two years. I was 4 years old. Sesame Street taught me almost everything and I loved the show. When we had to return to Germany, my mom taped the sound of Sesame Street with a tiny cassette player held in front of the TV. (There is a cute tape with baby brother going "monster boo" in the background to a Hairy Monster sketch). The tapes were for keeping my English alive, and for memories. In Germany, I watched the German Sesamstrasse once, found no Susan, Gordon, Bob, or Mr. Hooper, and boycotted it ever since. The dvd arrived last week,for my 8 month old granddaughter. I decided on this dvd after reading the 5 star reveiws. I'm happy with the choice.It's educational,fun and entertaining. My granddaughter stops to look and listen when she hears several songs,rock around the clock,elmo singing #5 song and the crows singing.I'm sure as she gets older this be one of her favorite dvds.I usually play it twice back to back because I enjoy her smiles when she reacts to the songs. I HIGH RECOMMEND THIS DVD. I'm going to purchase another one so she will have one at her home.

Sesame Street: Abby in Wonderland

This is the first time I've seen the Abby character in the Sesame Street programs and she sure is cute! She has a darling voice which the little ones seem to find fascinating. Sesame Street always does a great job with their DVD's and they're a favorite here. It's nice that this one is a little longer at 40 minutes than the typical 30 minutes which seems to fly by.

The voices are cute, the movie is colorful with lots of activity and the story which is a take off on Alice in Wonderland with Abby taking the part of Alice is a good one. The Sesame Street cast takes the other parts, like the Cheshire Cookie Cat or Bert and Ernie as Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee.

I bought it because my son loved part 2. The second one is better. If you have to choose, get Kids Favorite Songs 2. This one is good though.
