One of the reasons I buy dvd sets of television shows is for the "extras". I've come to expect a lot from "The Office" dvd sets. There are usually a number of excellent commentaries (they usually provide interesting insights and are entertaining); however, season four has only four commentaries. I was particularly hoping for insights into "Dinner Party" and "Goodbye Toby". Normally, I'd think of deleted scenes as a great extra, but I've been spoiled by watching many of them online already. Aside from that there are few additions. I had hoped the reduced episode count of the season would be offset by increased background information. That said, it still does a better job than many other series.

So I was a little nervous about buying this season because of all the negative reviews...my husband and I weren't expecting much when we popped it in the dvd player. But we seriously don't know what everyone else is talking about when they say this season sucks. Its just as good, if not better, than season 1. I just wish it didn't have to end so quickly. I definitely wish there were as many episodes as season 1. No, its not EXACTLY like season 1. But whats wrong with that? They spiced it up, switched it up...and made it just as awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend buying it. You won't regret it.

For the first start of the season, it's only a little more varied than the normal House formula. But the season finale(s) are very well thought out and edge of your seat good. If you are to watch 2 episodes from season 4 I would recommend the last two.

I've already mentioned my tenuous link to the Dexter crew in my review of Season One, so I'll just skip to why I love this show so much: because it's fearless.

This season takes many of the established tropes that make Dexter's life (Michael C. Hall) as a vigilante/serial killer plausible and tosses them out the window. Everything that was a minor annoyance in the first season is amped up to 11. Dexter's dumping ground for corpses, a quaint little spot in the ocean that nobody ever noticed, gets noticed. Officer Doakes (Erik King), who was openly hostile to Dexter, becomes a very real threat. Harry's Code, which keeps Dexter on the mostly-straight and somewhat-narrow path, comes into question. I really enjoyed this movie. I think it was just as good as the series itself. It was great to see the fabulous girlfiends together again and their new outfits and the way they changed and how they were doing in general. I laughed and I cried as I watched the movie. It definitely met my expectations. My friend and I were among the first people to see it and she liked it as much as I did.
I own all the seasons of Sex and the City and I will buy this movie.
It's a must see for everyone who loved the series.

I am not big purchaser of direct to DVD movies, we usually stick with theatrical releases, so this one may be decent compared to other movies of this type. But, compared to other Disney theatrical releases this one is terrible. The animation is fine, but the writing is bad and the music isn't anything special. Also, there are any number of scenes/actions in the movie that I don't want my daughter emulating.

The best part of the movie is the credits (they're animated and set to music in the Monsters Inc. style). The movie seemed promising when I read about it and pre-ordered it months ago, but it sure did fall short. As others have noted, bonus features do nothing to improve this movie purchase.

Iron Man The best reviewed film of the year. the Visual Effects are amazing, Robert Downey Jr. is very good as Tony Stark/Iron Man, the cast is pretty wonderful in this first film financed by Marvel Studios. The movie made over $317 million at the box office as the second biggest hit of 2008 way behind The Dark Knight at $507 million and counting as also the year's biggest hit.

I gave this 3 stars just because half of the season sucked and half was better than the first. Total Spoilers here if you havent seen it. The first half was written so bad, I hoped that we got to know more of the interns, oh wait they focused all of that idea on Lexie, who cares about Lexie. Seriously? The George and Izzie thing should have never happened they messed up the best friendship on the show. Christina became weak, I honestly dont think she wouldve kissed Hahn's @$$ like that being the strong minded person she was. I honestly thought Burke shouldve stayed or came back/or hell just replace Isaiah, Christina's personality showed more when dealing with him. I was surprised by how many people didnt like drama's and Turtle's role in this season. I didnt expext drama to cook for the group forever, his career takes off in this season, and he might have finally found his true love.

I do have to admit little has change with turtle. He's just same old Turtle. This is something the writers should change next season

Another major player is billy walsh the director of medellin and QB, and his struggle with producer eric.

Even after a huge hit like aqua man vincent chase still has a hard time getting a movie role.

Ari's character really changes this season as he becomes a little emotional about events that he cant control. By far my favorite character in the show.
