I purchased Labyrinth when it first came out, as a video tape. I have always been a David Bowie fan, and wanted to see him in this role. I still consider it to be a timeless classic. I already owned the music from the movie, which is wonderful, as well as the DVD. I wanted this anniversary edition because it contained more interviews about the movie.
David Bowie shines as the not so evil Goblin King Jareth. He is an unhappy guy, who has fallen in love with a human teenager, Sarah, who is played by Jennifer Connelly. When his goblin co-horts steal Toby, Sarah's baby brother, Jareth is forced to confront Sarah, and offers to give her back her brother, if she completes his labyrinth within 13 hours.

I bought it because my son loved part 2. The second one is better. If you have to choose, get Kids Favorite Songs 2. This one is good though.

Both my 22 month old son and his mom love this! Very cute with the characters and clips from the Sesame Street I grew up with and enjoyed. The son is learning the letters and loves ""Cookie".

My two-year-old granddaughter loves Elmo, I love anything Halloween, we both love the Count, so this DVD was made for us! If you're looking for something fun and off the beaten Elmo path, then this is it! The story line is Elmo is going to visit the Count at his castle to share some "scary" jokes with him, and fun monster songs and "old school" songs by the Count are mixed in between. My granddaughter watched this everyday for a week (and then five times in a row when she was sick) when we first discovered it, and she still enjoys revisiting it. I must confess that I loved the songs so much that I bought one of the now discontinued CDs of the same title, and my granddaughter loves listening to the music when we drive around in the car (she always ... This is by far the best Sesame Street DVD by Sony Wonder. My 19 month old loves it, especially Frazzle. He repeatedly asks for Frazzle by going "Arghhh" and shaking his head. It is also nice to hear some of the old songs I had in my Sesame collection, like Fur, Frazzle, and C is for Cookie. 10/10

This DVD is the best of all Sesame Street DVDs. I love it from start to finish. My toddler really took off with her number abilities after watching this. Count has always been my favorite character.

I bought this years ago for my kids when they were Elmo-crazy. They're past that phase now but I can't seem to part with my VHS copy. I know, that's crazy right? But it is one of my all time favorite (little) kids movies. If you like rhythmic music this one will entertain YOU as well as your kids. The STOMP performers are excellent and the tunes are very catchy.
My niece is now Elmo-obsessed but I can't seem to part with my copy so I'm on amazon buying one for her. Guess you could say that's the definition of this being "a keeper!"

This is fairly good for a child just introduced to phonics and letter blending. It uses the blended letter sounds, as well as taking away a letter and adding a different letter in order to make a new word. We have only watched it once thus far; so, my review is not the greatest, sorry. BTW - I loved Sesame Street as a child and now my 5-year-old loves it also:-)
