Even if you are not a particularly big fan of Pink Floyd there's a lot here to entertain. If you are fan, put this one in your shopping cart post haste. The sound is off the charts, the picture is fantastic and the performance is great. David Gilmour is as good as he ever was, perhaps even better. His voice has held up over the years and his very recognizable guitar style continues to raise goosebumps. Something I happened to notice about this particular concert is you never see cameraman, but there are shots being taken from every conceivable angle. Hats off to the producer. I have a lot of concert dvds and this one is the best.

Although I usually prefer classical music or pre-1950s popular music, I do enjoy the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. This is a very good sampling from his musicals. My only complaint is that some of the singing is not as good as it should be. Except for the opening number which was poorly sung, it sounded OK until I heard Sarah Brightman and Kiri Te Kanawa towards the end of the concert. Then I realized how much better this concert would have been if it had all been sung by singers of their skills.

I am 35, and I have been an AC-DC fan for 25 years ever since I borrowed my brother's cassette for Back in Black, this DVD has most of the best of the band and in a Live stage in front of a huge crowd which adds up to the extra addrenalin boost you are going to receive when purchasing this DVD. Panoramic scenes and takes, light show but best of all the performance and sound are very good for this production. I could be watching this DVD everyday, actually I do. This is what I wake up daily to and you should to. The whole band still rock like always.

This 2-DVD set is what we all want to see, AC/DC's greatest music videos (interspersed with awesome live performances) of both eras of this legendary band (up the the Razor's Edge album). Fans of Bon Scott will particularly enjoy the first DVD, it has one of the earliest TV performances by AC/DC with their first steady lead singer, Scott. Most fans don't know that AC/DC released a single with a different lead singer, Dave Evans, but they made the right choice and dumped him for Bon Scott's world-known howls.

The beginning of the DVD I first thought a little odd, it seemed like Gilmour was doing a sound check. But it quickly turned into Shine On You Crazy Diamond. He performed many of the classic Pink Floyd tunes and even though I was skeptical that I would like a lot of them played on an acoustic guitar, I enjoyed the whole show tremendously.

Unlike when Clapton turned Layla into an acoustic version that had little resemblance to the legendary version, Gilmour's acoustic interpretation is very similar to the recorded versions. He does pickup an electric guitar -- a Gretsch -- from time to time and it's every bit as good as it used to be.

David's voice isn't quite what it used to be, but he's not as young either like a lot of us fans. I didn't ... Read More:
