First, yes, I echo what the other positive reviews have said. Music is cheesy, production is cheap-ish, examples are very clear and immediately useful, provides the clarity that the Total Immersion book doesn't.

But really, I should not have had to get 1/3 of the way through the book before finding that I needed a $40 DVD (or, alternatively, a $500 weekend seminar) to really make use of its techniques. C'mon guys, raise the price of the book by $5 or whatever and include the DVD with it!

I never learned how to swim as a child, but am fairly athletic and can run 10 miles at a time at a good pace. I finally decided to learn how to swim over the last year, but was surprised that I was always short of breath after 1-2 laps in a 25 meter pool, even when I wasn't sprinting. I knew I was doing something wrong, and this DVD was extremely helpful in correcting the way I was breathing to reduce hypoxemia and improve my overall performance.

this DVD is for beginners who want to take the first steps in swimming or someone who is not comfortable in water. I bought this with Free Style Made Easy and I am happy to say that I can now swim.

I bought this movie because I like Kathleen Turner. Wow, she's got to be embarrassed looking back on this clunker. Did some high school senior write and direct this thing? It's clumsy, has no real storyline, and it's not even erotic. The acting is mediocre, too, by today's standards. About a half hour into the movie I got the idea that it was not going to get any better, and I had to force myself to watch it to the end. At least the video was crisp, which brings me to another point. Somebody goes to the trouble to clean up this piece of crap, yet there are good movies out there (All of Me, Roxanne, Cabaret, Another Woman, to name a few off the top of my head) that deserve remastering, yet are not. I don't get it.

The first contact with this style was the book Total Immersion: The Revolutionary Way to Swim Better, Faster, and Easier, after reading it I felt prepared to swim like never. So I decided to work on my technique according to it. It wasn't a miracle but for me was pretty close.
But that was not enough, I had to learn how to swim breaststroke and butterfly, then I found this DVDs, all of them by Terry Laughlin. So I thought, if the reading was good, the motion picture should be even better, and I got what I was looking for.
Lesson by lesson, I'm improving my technique and the way I swim. The fact is, I'm working better than any one else at the pool, just because I decided to learn more.
The truth is, I will buy the free and backstroke too...

I bought the book. with this DVD, I can have more insight on how to swim like those swimmers that I saw in Olympic races. I have been swimming for 20 years, but without a coach I struggle on how to swim better. This DVD really helps me to teach myself with my own peace and in a more logical way to improve my style. Highly recommended for those who take swimmimng as a lifetime sprots.

This is a great DVD that can help anyone master fly. I am a competitive swimmer and this DVD has help me tremendously. I went from not being able to do fly to being able to compete in it.

On one hand, it's inevitable that ECW should have a bomb of a show, as they can't always have phenomenal cards. On the other hand, this show just sucked more than it didn't, and some matches had some highly questionable booking, if any at all.


Shane Douglas vs Chris Chetti
Average. Average, average, average, average, average, average, average. Shane just about dominates most of this with his brawling, while Chetti gets in only the most basic of wrestling moves on Shane. (5/10)


The Pitbulls vs The FBI (Little Guido and Tracy Smothers)
If this was supposed to be a comedy match, I wasn't laughing. And inexcusable that Little Guido is a phenomenal cruiserweight athlete, and he's teamed with what I must think is the worst ... Read More:

On the recommendation of a review I decided to purchase this disk. Mick Foley's interviews on this disk is worth it alone. This guy has to be nuts. I am a huge Mick Foley fan. However I was looking at all the unprotected shots these guys were taking to be hardcore and I just felt for the wrestlers. With all the wrestlers dying young it is hard to watch sometimes. I watched the Public Enemy vs Mikey Whipwreck/Cactus Jack match and I was appalled at the number of unprotected shots these men were taking. I mean both members of the public enemy are dead. Mikey Whipwreck might be retired, I could be wrong. Mick Foley is retired way ahead of when he should have because of his wreckless style of wrestling.
