Namely: Joey=genius, the rest of them=not, Cory=needs to be shot through the lungs. Not because I have a particular deathwish against the guy, but merely because that (or a similarly drastic action) is about the only thing that can save him from sounding as aweful as he does on this DVD. The opening first frames of the concert are of him screaming his throat out, and it doesn't get any better from there to the end. Even when he stops the screaming to sing the occasional line or two, it's mumbled, dispirited, as unmelodic as possible, and probably horribly off-key before a postproduction ProTools pitch shifter. Voliminal: Inside the Nine

This thing really stinks. It opens with a man urinating into a toilet. Later, a guy gets drunk and starts puking. Who needs to see that? The live footage was shot by Shawn Crahan onstage. It should have been done professionaly like on Disasterpieces, a much better DVD. No insight is provided here about the band, what their lives are like on the road, etc. Stay away from this.

I was walking in the metal section of Raspution's when I saw this. It was standing right next to the Live 9.0 cd, and it focused all my attention away from it. I bought it, ran home, and put it into my DVD player. The first thing I saw was "This contains no music or performances by Slipknot" and I said "Muther F*****!" Although I was disapointed, I continued watching. A guy (I think he was Joey Joedison) started talking about Iowa and Slipknot. Not being a huge Slipknot fan, this info was new to me. They started showing a news reporter and a priest (who were both fake) saying bad stuff about Slipknot and they interviewed two Slipknot fans (probably fake, too.) This DVD is just the UNAUTHORIZED documentary "Up To Our Necks," just repackaged. If I could give this thing less than 1 star I would. The "quiz" that is on the disk is horribly inaccurate as well.
