This is another one of those great Westerns. It's simply a classic and a great movie. Redford is excellent and so is the story line, except for the sad ending. It's somewhat of an indictment of our society and the way we look down on those who aren't like us. It shows the harshness of the old West and the way people had to eke out a living in some pretty tough conditions.

I had never seen this film until now and I must say it is a very good movie! Considering there are only three people in the majority of the film, it's amazingly engrossing. Dreyfuss has never been more likable and so full of energy! It's smart, funny and not too sweet. The DVD transfer looks very good, but not much in the way of extras.

This movie was about the geoncide in Rwanda in 1994. It follows the story a hutu soldier married to a tutsi woman. It flashes from past to present quite a bit and it can be confusing at times. The story is a bit long winded for my tastes and I actually found myself becoming bored at times. I much prefer Hotel Rwanda or the National Geographic documentary. Both of those were riveting IMO and this just lacked something. Nevertheless, it is still a decent movie worth watching at least once. Some people really liked it, so maybe I am just being overly critical of the film right now.

This DVD is the best of all Sesame Street DVDs. I love it from start to finish. My toddler really took off with her number abilities after watching this. Count has always been my favorite character.

This is by far the best Sesame Street DVD by Sony Wonder. My 19 month old loves it, especially Frazzle. He repeatedly asks for Frazzle by going "Arghhh" and shaking his head. It is also nice to hear some of the old songs I had in my Sesame collection, like Fur, Frazzle, and C is for Cookie. 10/10

I bought this years ago for my kids when they were Elmo-crazy. They're past that phase now but I can't seem to part with my VHS copy. I know, that's crazy right? But it is one of my all time favorite (little) kids movies. If you like rhythmic music this one will entertain YOU as well as your kids. The STOMP performers are excellent and the tunes are very catchy.
My niece is now Elmo-obsessed but I can't seem to part with my copy so I'm on amazon buying one for her. Guess you could say that's the definition of this being "a keeper!"

My 23 month old loves this video. She hums the title track all day long. She even like to cover which is a book with the lyrics for 6 of the songs featured on the video.

As a rock and roller, who occasionaly pushes the stroller.. having a young one of my own, I definately like to recommend stuff that rock and roll parents can enjoy with their rock and roll kids. The title here says it all. Rock and Roll.
Sesame Street has been the tops when it comes to rockin kid songs since the sixties man!
THE WORD IS NO song is sung by a non muppet, and a pretty cute non puppet at that. Gina, from back in the days when she was a ripped jeans wearing teenager on the show in the eighties. I like it. Holds up.
Others hold up too. MONSTER IN THE MIRROR, TELEPHONE ROCK, the Rolling Stones parody (I Cant Get No) COOPERATION (the Mick Jagger muppet is hillarious!), or the HIP TO BE[a]SQUARE song.
Admittedly there are ... Read More:

The film has four or five stars acting: Marlon Brando (surprising the audience with revival Don Corleone), Matthew Broderick (an ingenuous outsider student), Penelope Ann Miller (a delicious impostor girl friend of Broderick), Bruno Kirby (a nice New Yorker mob member), and the splendid photography of New York City. Suspense, romance, mischievousness and smart direction of Andrew Bergman. That cannot be lost!
