While Season Four of That Girl is missing special features, these great episodes more than make up for it. Ann and Donald have grown closer, making the show very romantic. Visually, the show is more cinematic (I wonder how in the world they filmed in always busy Vegas!!!). This is, so far, my favorite season. I am looking forward to season 5.

What's to say?
Free to Be You and Me is timeless, brilliant, and super fun for kids of all ages.
Great cast, wonderfully imaginative songs.
Too bad nobody's making an updated version!

The first time I watched this movie I cried so hard I thought my heart was breaking. This is what you go through when you are an unwanted child . The fear, anxiety, belonging nowhere. Marie was fortunate to have a doctor care about her. This movie is very realistic. "Please do not let me fail," said Marie. It takes so much to overcome these traumas, then to be misdiagnosed and given the wrong medication that nearly killed her. Marie had faith through all the obstacles, she succeeded against all odds, very inspirational and full of hope against all the darkness in her life. Overcoming the darkness and fears, she created a facility to help others like herself, after graduating from Harvard. She learned what it means to truly love herself and others.

No offense intended, but in regards to the other reviewers who haven't figured out why introductory DVDs of shows are being released...it's to INTRODUCE people who have never seen the show, or haven't seen it since its original airing. If you're a diehard fan already, then you already know you can skip the intro DVD, and go on to the complete volumes. (Duh!) Let's stop picking on the producers who simply want to attract more viewers, who might not be ready to invest in 20-30 episodes. I am so glad they're doing this finally. For example, I fondly remember watching "Alice" after school as reruns, back in the 70's. So, I got the intro 6-episode DVD. Am I glad I did, instead of buying a whole season: I don't care for the show nearly as much as I did 30 ... Read More:

I enjoyed the Joey Bishop Show. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as I Love Lucy, Make Room for Daddy or The Dick Van Dyke Show so I was not as disappointed as most people. Joey Bishop did not have the comedic timing that Dck Van Dyke had and he did not have the onscreen chemistry with Abby Dalton that that Van Dyke had with Mary Tyler Moore. Guy Marks was amazing and I was shocked when after 8 or 10 episodes his character disappeared and was never mentioned again. When it comes to The Joey Bisho Show I just wanted to watch a sitcom from the sixties that had a definite 1960s feel. I have to admit I enjoyed every minute of this dvd set and I can not wait for the complete series to be released.

This may be a great resource for women's studies majors looking for quotes. To others, however, it's just a typical 1980s Sunday morning talk show series put on DVD. The huge 1980s eyeglasses that Steinem and others wear will make some nostalgic and make others laugh out loud.
On the one hand, these are intelligent conversations between famous and articulate women. On the other hand, it's an advanced feminist pulling ideas out of the throats of more amateur feminists. Combating the stereotype that feminist activists are loud and irrational, Ms. Steinem is very poised and thoughtful. However, in our days of shock jocks and sound bytes, it may come off as incredibly boring to many. And one (inaccurate) critique of feminists is that they are tedious. ... Read More:

While the previous reviewer's title "Stockholm Syndrome on Steroids" is cute and catchy, nothing could be farther from the truth about the book (Beirut Diary) and the movie it became "Held Hostage". Sis Levin was never held hostage, so how do her words and actions fit into the accusations of "Stockholm Syndrome"? I am a medical professional who has been on missions in the Middle East and Central America and I found Dr. Sis Levin's accounts acccurate and tremendously profound. It is so easy and even natural to hate and plot revenge.....and those who expound upon the true Christian values of forgiveness and understanding have always been ridiculed. The incredible bravery of Sis and Jerry, then and now, deserves far more than to be sneered at by the obviously jaded previous ... Read More:
