I liked the verbal sincerety and clarity of the instructor. His teaching style and playing command are inspiring, and for this I would give him 5 stars. I did get good tips from him that I now have to just practice as much as possible. The fact that the instructor taught his lessons with a Fender electric guitar throughout the DVD was a big turn off for me and unfortunately weighs quite a bit on my overall rating. I wish the DVD cover would not mislead customers, and I wisk that other reviewers had commented on this, as it would have changed my decision to purchase this DVD.

When I bought this product I thought I wouldn't be able to go far in learning the guitar because of the reviews that it was too challenging for someone my age. Of course, I was wrong. This dvd tells you important parts of playing the guitar. It also explains about the scales and more. After you have seen the contents of this dvd you will learn basic things like chords. You will need to buy books if you want to learn things that aren't covered in this dvd.

No chapter stops so you can't easily forward to the chapters your tantrum-laden 3-year-old wants to see. I've watched this DVD COUNTLESS times, and NO MOUSE ever says 'damn". The stories are cute and funny, and by the way, there are 4, not 3. The story called "Henry's Halloween" is especially funny, and one of our favorites. This DVD is a must for every fan of Angelina Ballerina!
