-- another review at this late date. Like the other sets, some of these are more desirable to own than others. I tend to better enjoy episodes where the underlying movie is silly or campy-bad (Santa Claus / Squirm / Final Sacrifice), but not unwatchable like 'Manos.'

Having said that, Space Mutiny is one of my all-time favorites. I hadn't seen all the others, but bought the box set just for that one. A truly cheezy movie that was made for no better reason than to swindle the movie-going public out of its hard-earned dollars, gets the kicking it so richly deserves. Classic line: at a meeting of the rebels, a dissenter is knocked down and murdered. Crow says, 'It's a rare meeting where something actually gets done!'

Please do not waste your money on this one. The sound is tourchuring. We could not even listen through the first act! It was complete waste of money for us! Poor Mozart, and I always thought that you can't go wrong with Mozart's pieces, what a dissapointment.

C.H.U.D. is a brilliant cult classic 80's horror film that I remember watching when I was a kid, I used to have this on vhs along with the awful sequel called C.H.U.D.2: Chud The Bud. What I've noticed about this dvd is that the film is completely uncut and seems to be much longer than the previous version which is great, there were a couple of gore scenes that were cut along with the bloody shower scene. Anchor Bay did a terrific job transferring this film and the picture quality was high, there wasn't any blurry images or maybe that was from my old vhs. Anyway the plot was about some bad government guys who are dumping toxic waste beneath the sewers in New York thus transforming homeless people into C.H.U.D.s (Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers) weird ... I first saw this movie on Showtime back in the late Seventies or early Eighties, and tried to find it on tape for years afterwards. Very funny, and I LOVED seeing Ron Howard (uncredited) and Cindy Williams in the same film pre-Happy Days/Laverne & Shirley. I have frequently tried to describe this film to my friends, and been frustrated. Even singing "Dancing Dildoes Are We" didn't convey the hilarity. Now I can show them!! You should see it too.

If you truly love the bizarre bellylaugh in film, run "The First Nudie Musical" as a double feature with "The Forbidden Zone" by Richard Elfman. You will laugh all night long.

Will somebody please get me a glass of water? This movie is about as dry as the Sahara Desert. Pras of the Fugees plays Diamond, a former drug dealer who aspires to be a rapper. Ja Rule plays his best friend "Gage", who goes out of his way to help him at the risk of getting beatdown for not paying the people he owes money on time. The simplistic storyline is not the reason why this movie sucks. The "actors" are the reason for this film's lousiness. Pras cant act! Repeat: PRAS CANT ACT! Picture a slug crawling in a garden.
