Many popular-cultural enthusiasts will purchase this work simply because of Michael Ian Black and Simon Pegg's involvement. And, this is where the trouble begins. The enormous creative-talent invested in this film should have yielded an amusing, innovative work. Instead, Run, Fatboy, Run is just another rom-com in a long list of predictable rom-coms.

Perhaps most problematic, the screenplay heavily relies on film cliches. It contains one of the best shooting scenes I've ever seen! This scene is worth the whole movie. However, the last half is dragging and boring. The acting is interesting.

It's definitely worth watching once.

Now and Then is a coming-of-age tale following the lives of four pre-teen girls. This film mostly takes place in the past rather than the present, this film should've been called Then and Now. Christina Ricci and Gaby Hoffman have the best character development and depth. Demi Moore is the only adult character that seems affected by past hurts and trials from her childhood. Melanie Griffith continues to play the bimbo, she is so much smarter than that! Good film but not a home run.

Minnie Driver, Joan Cusack, Alan Arkin and Dan Aykroyd all have co-starring roles in this, but there are others there too. Hank Azaria, Jenna Elfman, Jeremy Piven, along with Bill & Ann Cusack.
