Nowadays, it is hard to find someone who has not seen the Star Wars movies. If you are one of the lucky few who escaped the Phantom Menace's hype attack during its theatrical release, there is no reason to waste your money and time now to ruin your fond memory of Episode 4 & 5, unless, that is, you are under 8 years old, which is the target audience of this movie. Enough said.

Short Attention Span Summary (SASS):
1. Geeky accountant meets smooth-talking lawyer
2. Geek spots attractive blonde on train
3. Audience suffers stereotype overload
4. Second-hand designer suit and cell phone switcheroo leads to geek getting a life
5. ... and maybe losing his
Great performances by Ewan McGregor (geeky accountant), Hugh Jackman (smooth-talking lawyer), Charlotte Rampling (smoldering seductress) and Michelle Williams (attractive blonde) are almost eclipsed by an unrealistic screenplay involving the intertwining of two different storylines into a forgettable psychological drama, that starts well, but then is frittered away to absolutely nothing much.

Next to 'Saving Private Ryan' this is by far, the most combat-intensive movie I've ever seen. When the shooting starts, there's very little letup. Delta Sgt. 1st Class 'Hoot Gibson' (Eric Bana - Munich, Hulk, Lucky You, Troy) and Ranger 'SSgt. Matt Eversmann' (Josh Hartnett - Lucky Number Slevin, Sin City, The Black Dahlia) do "bang-up" jobs in this story of the bloody battle in "The Mog."
Great contributions from William Fitchner (HEAT, Invasion, Prison Break, The Dark Knight) as Delta Sgt 1st Class Jeff Sanderson, Jason Isaacs (Resident Evil, Harry Potter, The State Within) as the by-the-book Ranger Capt. Mike Steele, and Tom Sizemore (HEAT, Saving Private Ryan, Bringing Out The Dead) as the rough and tough Ranger Lt. Col. Danny McKnight.

"Star Wars:Episode II-Attack of the Clones" was presented at the Cinemark Theatre at the Hampshire Mall in Hadley,Massachusetts.I purchised my ticket a couple of weeks in advance and despite some of the negative reviews that I read,I was still eager to see this film. After leaving the theater,I realized that although it wasn't as good as the first three "Star Wars" films, but was just as good as "Star Wars:Episode I-The Phantom Menace",I was being entertained.I like watching movies that entertain me and this film did a good job at that.I like to point out that we are living in an age where computer technology seem to be an open doorway to the art of special effects."Star Wars:Episode II-Attack of the Clones" is a great example of that. Some people question the idea ... Gwyneth Paltrow takes on the Austenian role with all the elegance anyone could possibly bring. She and the rest of the cast are all perfect in a true romantic comedy with all of the Jane Austen-ness for which anyone could possibly ask. It's absolutely darling.

Just not a very good effort from Lucas. I'm not sure why anyone would watch one of these three films over one of the old three films.
Release Date September 23, 2008
This is a good movie with lots of twist and turns. I'm suprised that no one has reviewed it so far. This movie is very similiar(but a bit better) to a movie that Rob Lowe did a long time ago called Bad Influence. If you remember that movie and liked it, you will enjoy this one as well.

Moulin Rouge is a movie that you really can't "sort of like." Either you do, or you don't. Warning: it can be taken to come off as a little corny, but as long as you can get past that...the movie is FABULOUS! The songs are "on point," the acting is commendable, and the story...wow, well you'll just have to see the movie for yourself!

"Big Fish" may be Tim Burton's best film. At the very least, it's his most underrated. Everyone always talks about his concept work/production on The Nightmare Before Christmas and his older work, but I'd argue that this is a more solid film than those. Instead of comparing, though, I'll just talk about what makes this movie so great.
The basic plot is this: Edward Blood was never the best father, especially through his son's eyes. He'd always tell patently false tales about his life, often hogging the attention with his fantastic stories. Now, as he gets closer and closer to death, he recounts his stories to his son and his new daughter in law, in hopes that his son will finally come to know who he truly is. This sort of story was perfect for Tim Burton, because ... Read More:
