There a lot of great reviews out there for what is one of our top favorite flicks, but I don't seem to see what I thought was a great part of the production. I recently bought the video of the original game...which I can remember seeing like it was yesterday. We were shocked to find that the sound track from the original broadcast was used 100% in the movie, not an easy trick because the action then had to match what the announcers had said. This makes for a surprisingly real reproduction. And the Russian coach in the movie is dead ringer for the real guy who has to be seen to be appreciated.

Volume four is a slight improvement over volume three in the Looney Tunes Collection. It's a four disc collection with fifteen shorts per disc for a total of sixty cartoons. As in previous sets each disc has a theme. Disc one is "Bugs Bunny Favorites"; Bugs Bunny has been the lead off set in every edition thus far. Disc two is "A Dash of Tashlin" that features Porky Pig. Disc three is "Speedy Gonzalez in a Flash" which features "the fastest mouse in all Mexico". Disc four is "Kitty Korner", a set that features different cats including Sylvester.
As in the other Golden Collections disc one, featuring Bugs Bunny, is the best disc in the set. Many of these are classic Bugs which includes the Academy Award winning "Knighty Knight Bugs".

Space Jam as a movie has always held a special place in my heart. Being 12 years old as of this review, I have to say this movie has aged really well. Starring a real comic legend in Bill Murray and an acting great, Danny DeVito doing a voice over; this movie was destined to succeed. The real surprise for everyone was the performance of Michael Jordan. Although not exactly Sidney Poitier he did his job of being the face of this movie and when you make a movie with basketball as the main focus, you couldn't not have Michael Jordan.
The story goes that aliens from a theme park world named Moron Mountain, need a new attraction. Whilst throwing around ideas the evil boss, Mr. Swackhammer decides that he must get the Looney Tunes. He sends his ... Read More:

Oh Lord, where to start, with this epic?? Joel and the Bots, send this back to Hell, where it came!! This could have been used to show just how NOT to direct a film, without the always stimulating commentary. Slatzer the director, probably didn't know from day to day, whether the funding would run out, to finish this stinker. The acting was wonderfully inept, the sound poor, and the director could have been referred to, as " One-Shot Slatzer!!" All for the funnier, Folks.....All for the funnier!!!

I bought this DVD because I was scrambling for any British production to watch on television. British productions always have excellent writing and production values. And then I found "Shades of Darkness' I love ghost stories, especially British ghost stories and this DVD set certainly delivers. The stories deal with the human soul and its complexities and the price one has to pay if you betray it. Great casting as well. The British have a way of putting the spectator right in the middle of the drama as though you are there as well. I reccommend this DVD to anyone who appreciates great story telling.

This Dvd really is neat. It has alot of features and a special bonus disc! But due to the release of her new dvd "Greatest hits: My Prerogative" this dvd is not much too buy. It only has 2 videos. But the Live performance is awesome, plus you get to see an interview with brit! This is a neat Dvd but if your looking for videos go with "Greatest hits: My Prerogative"

Such a waste; what potential this strong cast had. I dunno if it was direction or acting that went sour. And there were more holes in this story than Swiss cheese...SPOILER (below):
it's said that if someone knows just one person, that link would make a mutual connection to the entire world--wellll, they sure stretch that coincidence hard to unbelievable lengths in this movie.
The accountant AND banker work for the same two mobs? who don't know that until the end? The accountant's daughter's got the hots for 'our hero'? who doesn't know ANY of these guys?
Here's three big holes to ponder, just off the top of my head
1) the 'Guineas' come in, acknowledge the cop guarding the hospital patient and in the patient's presence with ... Read More:

Lisa Loeb was 34 years old when she made this movie, playing a mousy 17 year old. Justin Urich plays a morose lad whose ambition in life is to be a serial killer, and Loeb wants to be his first victim. It's all slowly paced, poorly written and Loeb is simply awful. Urich does a little better but the whole plot is so ridiculous one doesn't really care. And what a shame to see future Oscar nominee Thomas Haden Church in a disastrously bad performance, so Rod Steigerish in its delivery that he definitely should've gotten a Razzy that year.
Ho hum, what a drag.
