Very good product. The DVD quality if first rate. I have both previous seasons. The Third season shows an improvement in both quality of information and ease of understanding of dog behavior.

My Dad got a puppy. My friend at work told me about the Dog Whisperer, so I could watch it and talk to my Dad on the phone about his puppy. Little did I realize that I would learn so much about myself even though I don't have a dog! (as soon as I retire, I plan to get one, though.) I have always liked cats, so this comes as a complete surprise to me that a person's realtionship with a dog can change your life in such a positive way. I use the episodes to calm me down and remind me to be calm-assertive in my life.

Laugh, if you will. Also I have had several encounters with dogs in my neighborhood, and have immediately improved my posture, set my mind to be calm assertive, and the dogs responded.

My Mistake - I thought I was buying a book and it was a DVD. I have seen many of the Dog Whisperer Shows so this was redundant to those. I keep it as a reference for guests in our DVD library for Eden Valley Guest Ranch (our small resort). It turned out to be a good thing as many dog people that come are not familiar with Cesar and it is a great introduction for exercise, disipline and then affection. :)

This video was simple to understand but really for beginning training and not intermediate. While the training worked on my puppy to obey simple commands such as sit and lay down, he is beyond that and into intermediate training such as walking and not jumping. This book did not cover that type of training, it is basic simple sit, lay, come commands.

Sorry guys, I'm writing from Germany, so my English is not that good. What I had seen was really exciting, fresh and new and helped me to understand my dog (Mr. Schroeder, one eyed, handycapped Pug-Mix) much better. Now I am working harder to help this little dog to feel more safe (with other dogs / meeting dogs when he is on the leash etc.)- means: I am sweating and Mr. Schroeder is having a nice time.
Hopefully Cesar Millan will come over to Germany soon to show his work. It just started here, that some people discuss his methods.
The cases are shown on this video are really frightening. I never saw a person doing this things with aggressive dogs. And kids - don't try to do it at home with your neighbours puppy! Ouuch!

ahh... Mr Schroeder, the pug-mix, is not interested in writing... he's asking for a walk. Good boy - he watched Cesar Millan. So! Let's go.
I was very happy about Cesar's ideas. I love to go for a walk with my dog, except meeting other dogs. But now I can work on this issue, because I have a better understanding what my dog needs, and what I have to do in a dangerous situation my dog is able to create in one second. (It's a dog from the dog-shelter. The first 5 month with this fellow were very exciting!)
oh, Mr Schroeder - brings the leash in. I really have to go now...

It is an abridged version, which is my only negative. It gave me great information on how to grow and understand my dog. I only wish I could read my dog as well as he reads my own feeling. Now when I see my dogs acting sad or not themselves instead of thinking what is wrong with them I think how am I out of balance. Excercise Discipline Affection really work miracles, after two weeks people could tell the difference. I also enjoyed the fact that it was read by Cesar Milan.

Cesar Millan is the genius of dog handling in this country. He is also very easy to take, someone I would like to know. These are well directed episodes and a useful addition to the Dog Whisperer tapes.
