This is a wonderful movie. Mr. Morgan Freeman is wonderful in nearly every movie I've ever seen him in. He's a great actor. Ms Jessica Tandy is the same. Together Mr. Freeman and Ms Tandy are superb in Driving Miss Daisy. I love the charming southern accents and the lovely backgrounds. The house used in this movie is beautiful. I enjoyed this movie and am wearing it out from watching it so much. I will certainly replace it if I ever need to. It's that great!!! And worth every penny I paid for it. I will treasure it.

I've seen this when released and I would disagree with many of the reviewers who complain of the "disjointed" script. This movie is not confusing. It is extremely fast paced and can be watched several times to get all the jokes. The special effects are brutally effective and the underlying message very disturbing. The dark humor is right on, especially the bit where the Cusack's only friend is his Northstar roadside assistance system. The only complaint of the movie is how they fit Hillary Duff into the movie. It's a bit corny, but hey, it's Hollywood.

All right I know that Pearl Harbor since its release date has been getting nothing but horrible reviews from just about every critic who'd seen it. I personally thought it was an excellent movie. The authenticity of every thing about the film was almost down to a science. Aside from Ben Affleck's 90's style haircut everything from clothing to wall posters were all well placed and everything. Now we come to the acting. Every one in the film did a great job portraying their charecters and making them seem real. The only real problem I noticed in the acting was Ben Affleck's southern accent. I've got nothing against Ben Affleck, in fact I think he's a very good actor it's just that he'd have done a much better job with his charecter if he'd just not used an accent. And ... Read More:

Premise: Dan Akroyd and Chevy Chase are actually caught cheating on the Foreign Service exam and "promoted" to be spies.
It is a funny movie, with some great sequences. It seems like the kind of movie that would be funnier the second or third time around - or maybe late at night. Overall, I enjoyed it, but it wasn't the type of movie I would seek out again. Somewhat crude humor - not one for the family, but a fun movie overall.

The first season of SNL is definitely a groundbreaker, but the truth is, it's just simply not that funny. Actually, the comedy is pretty much downright horrible; there's barely any real "laugh out loud" moments, just a few chuckles here and there. It really depends on how you want to view this - it's a great look at a young TV comedy cast in 1975 trying hard. Everyone keeps saying how great the first cast is - they're ok, but they do make a lot of mistakes. The highlight is definitely the musical guests and watching the guest hosts be themselves in 1975. So if you are looking at a trip back in time, it's definitely an ok viewing in short doses. But as comedy, it's bad. I also can't figure why the Amazon listing says the Louise Lasser episode is one of the show's worst ever ... Read More:
