Less Than Zero I've heard of this movie for years & I finally got it! It's a sad & intense tale of someone who "marches to the beat of their own drum" (while strung out on drugs & alcohol) without checking his bearings or vision with others (a.k.a. self-deluded) & ultimately becomes the cause of his own demise. There are enabling individuals who help him on his way too. Strongly reminds me of the "Very Draining People" chapter in the book, "Ordering Your Private World".

This is a fantastic and inspiring movie. The people in it are relateable, the music is great, and the message is timeless. It is funny, but not cheesy, the message is vocalized but not preachy. Ron Mann is a great director who made a motivating and inspirational movie. And in response to one reviewer calling it a spoof, it is not. I am a member of the Ruckus Society and they are a %100 legitimate organization with real activist training camps. In short, everyone needs to see Go Further.

One would hope for more than just a compilation of music videos and a few stray bits of material. The Palm Director Series started off with a bang (see the excellent, truly excellent Michel Gondry Director's Series DVD), and has degenerated into formula...throw down a bunch of music videos, go get a few musician soundbites, take the customer's money. No real insight here into Sednaoui, but then again, maybe there's nothing to see.
