Demolition Man starring Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes is pretty far out in terms of storyline and science fiction. Thank goodness for Sandra Bullock! Without her spunk and likability, this film would be just another stinker. The gadgets and costumes keep this movie worth watching but otherwise than that, it's ultimately a film not to be taken to seriously. Good luck!

Quite frankly, I don't know what Guy Ritchie wanted to do in "Revolver." Its tagline, according to IMDb, goes: "Your mind will not accept a game this big." OK, but what kind of game does this film really want to play?

Anyway, Jason Statham plays our anti-hero, skilled gambler Jake Green. After doing seven years in jail, Jake goes to a casino owner Macha (Ray Liotta) and humiliates him in front of his men, but on his way back he is attacked by the assassins sent by Macha. Luckily Jake is saved by Zach (Vincent Pastore) and Avi (André Benjamin), but these mysterious guys demand something extraordinary: Jake's money, all of it.

I thought this movie was very cute. Fun for all ages. I see ppl are comparing this to babe (idk why ppl always do that) I personally think this one is better than Babe or Gory also. Wonderful story about friendship and accepting something for what it is.

John Singleton directed this very well done action drama that plays like a modern day version of the old John Wayne movie, THE SONS OF KATIE ELDER.

When their adopted mother is shot down, ostensibly by two gang members, in a convenience store robbery, her four sons return to their Detroit home to attend her funeral and to also see that the killers are brought to justice.

None of these siblings (Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Andre Benjamin, Garrett Hedlund) would qualify as "citizen of the year," and, in fact, some of them have had their own problems with the law.

I saw this movie recently and loved it. I went to Amazon to buy it and found a bunch of bad reviews. After reading several of them, a theme came through. Those that didn't like it seemed to not like it because it wasn't faithful to the book. I haven't read the book so I can't speak to that but I have seen the original movie. It was good too but there are significant differences with this incarnation. I think this movie is well made with many faces you will recognize. It is suspenseful, more so than the first movie, in my opinion. If you can get past the fact this is a lot different than the first movie, you will likely enjoy it. I sure did.
